New mouse. I’m trying to get used to it. It’s tricky! So I’ve been making double posts without meaning to.
When I lived in Vegas in 1999, there was a SWAT team two doors down. Drug bust. Had a 15 year old girl (baby mama) on the sidewalk with a gun to her head, telling her not to move. She kept yelling. Not smart.
I watched from a distance...kinda. It was fascinating, in a somewhat “removed” way. Those guys get so amped when they go out on a call.

When we in Paris, LoM had a SWAT team run through the restaurant while she was at breakfast.

There is no online scanner here, so I have no idea what’s happening.

It almost killed my morning. Just after I came down from the hotel room, walked out and saw them at the far end of the parking lot. (Robbery with hostages at the McDonald's on the other side of the lots.)
Decided it wasn't good to be there, went back into the hotel, went out the other side and the police only barely let me cross the street so I could get to my meeting.
The robbers let the hostages go -- but left with them. The standoff went a couple of hours more until the police realized the McDonald's was empty. Oops.

We have some goofy mice, too. I don’t know why they always have to keep adding buttons.

I’ve spent the last three hours doing a jigsaw puzzle, just because the mouse doesn’t want to drag and drop when I want it to. This puzzles should only have taken about 50 minutes.
*grrrr*

I guess when you do online puzzles, you never lose any pieces!
I’ve been sorting things for Girl Scouts. I hope to have everything moved out tomorrow except for some papers and receipts that I need to complete the year-end financial report.

Dunno, the biggest in the pond is only about eight or so inches long from what an be guessed from twenty feet away with refraction going on.
But they do seem to be fancy goldfish.

I’d be afraid of the ones from my pond, they might try and eat everything that comes close.

Bettas can only be one to a bowl, of course, but the good thing about them is they don’t grow!
All done my Girl Scouts arrangements, and we cancelled choir practice because of severe storms moving in. I can take a shower and go dormant after supper!
