My Japanese cars have not been so fancy, but they are pretty reliable.
Home now, but once the work laptop is up I have to make at least one more pass through my article before I submit it this afternoon.

Several Hondas, a Datsun and a Suzuki here.
My first, a '72 Honda 600 Coupe was less expensive, better built and more reliable than the Pintos the family bought. The only thing it wasn't was larger -- which saved me from involvement in a couple of bad smashups that occurred in front of me. Light and nimble isn't always the winning combo, but sometimes it is.
All cars retired at 250k miles except the Honda 600 (stolen at 170k miles) and the '92 Suzuki (approaching 160k miles and still going).

It is rather surprising that Italian design would come up with a concept as strictly utilitarian as a spider-bot. Wait til you see the boots the spider-bots wear.
(All apologies to my friends of Italian origin -- historically they were famed engineers in a number of fields.)

"Wait til you see the boots the spider-bots wear." You just reminded me of my adventures with buckled galoshes.
You cannot imagine the force it took of memory maelstrom stirring required to do that.

buckled galoshes Not even gong there! Buckled boots were good enough and worked in the environment of the time.
I am pretty much gone for the night, now...

One can look forward to the day when Michelle decides to spend some time in the White House kitchen ... making muffins.

I have this mental image of some visitor coming face to sensors with that thing, having it walk overhead, and the visitor melts to the floor while screaming.

I went to Wal-mart again. They didn’t have the cleaning solution for my mop machine!
Found the cat nail clippers; now I just need to catch a cat.
