Man "this is entertainment." Congressman Alan Grayson D-Fla Appeared on Cavuto's Show on FBN yesterday. Grayson is on Barney Frank's banking committee and he has sponsored the "Pay for Performance Act of 2009." It would impose government controls on the pay of all employees (not just top executives) of companies that have received funds from the U.S. government. It would changing the terms of compensation agreements already in place.

The Congressman couldn't answer simple questions about his bill, and Neil let him have it. This is a classic on the level of O'Reilly/Frank:

That’s a good idea. Problem is, I’m tempted simply to call him a moron outright.

How do know-nothings like him get elected? He has no inkling that the Constitution puts restraints on central government, precisely because the “good intentions” of a SecTreas cannot, and should not, be trusted.

Cavuto might just as well have replied that the federal government should therefore trust the people, especially other highly paid executives who did not “rip off” taxpayer money via a bailout; why pass a law that allows the feds oversight on everyone when only a few have so far been guilty?

Ultimately, the reply should be this: if the feds want to ensure that executives don’t loot taxpayer bailout funds, don’t bail them out...let them go bankrupt, and let the market decide which companies succeed and which do not.

I saw Cavuto today, live. The word tenacious or pit-bull come to mind. Good stuff.

It's no secret to me that the RATs hung the bonus money out there as a carrot
knowing they would never allow it to happen if public sentiment wasn't on their side.
Or that the bailout money wouldn't save the company. But they knew it wouldn't save them either.

It's a power grab on a monumental scale that will haunt capitalism for the next decade.

I cannot believe how fast this country is approaching Hell.

This Congressman is a disgrace, but there are hundreds more like him.

The enactment of Socialism was their goal all along. It has been their dream for decades. They see their opportunity to destroy this nation, and they are seizing it.

America is finished.

Pray to Christ.

Looks like Beck started a trend.

I was thinking the same thing.

Also, isn't it amazing how flabbergasted these Democrats are when you ask them to tell the truth?

Did you also notice how the Congressman tried to claim victim hood by being "interrupted." He also tried to feign moral outrage because Cavuto used the word (shudder!) "damn."

Just some info on this wretch of a "Congressman."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Grayson

He was just elected in 2008 to Florida. He is from the Bronx, and comes from a long line of thugs.

He has a history of huge "pay envy" with contractors who made more money than he did.

His election was narrow and strange in many ways, and I have little doubt he stole thousands of votes.

He is a member of the Congression Progressive Caucus - which is Communism.

thanks for the info.

I am watching fox and friends and heard a very disturbing bit of information.

I am waiting for the segment to come on.

Seems the D's voted on a bill that would give illegals additional benefits.

I don't know if this is occurred in a state legislature or the actually House of Rep.

They waited until all the R's had left the room and then voted.

That segment coming up.

They just said it would pay for in-state tuition for illegals.

Must be a state vote.

Bet the folks in that state are lovin' it.

Hindsight is 20/20, but I wish Cavuto would have slammed back by pointing out how rude and insulting the congresscritter was being by lying and blowing fart gas at the American public, and believing that we agreed with him!

Supporting organizations

An array of national liberal organizations will work to support the efforts of the far left liberal caucus, including the Institute for Policy Studies, The Nation magazine, MoveOn.org, National Priorities Project, Jobs with Justice, Peace Action, Americans for Democratic Action, and Progressive Democrats of America. Also co-sponsoring the kickoff event were the NAACP, ACLU, Progressive Majority, League of United Latin American Citizens, Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, National Council of La Raza, Hip Hop Caucus, Human Rights Campaign, Association of Farmworker Opportunity Programs, and the National Hip Hop Political Convention. In 2000, the Democratic Socialists of America expressed solidarity with the Congressional Progressive Caucus, sice they both shared "operative social democratic politics."[1]

From wikipedia

Yep, nothing but commie trash.
