Man "this is entertainment." Congressman Alan Grayson D-Fla Appeared on Cavuto's Show on FBN yesterday. Grayson is on Barney Frank's banking committee and he has sponsored the "Pay for Performance Act of 2009." It would impose government controls on the pay of all employees (not just top executives) of companies that have received funds from the U.S. government. It would changing the terms of compensation agreements already in place.
The Congressman couldn't answer simple questions about his bill, and Neil let him have it. This is a classic on the level of O'Reilly/Frank:

Cavuto is one of my favorites. He delivers what O’Reilly only promises - no spin allowed.
Just a simple question here. If pay for performance is GOOD for a private firm that has government money invested in it ... why isn’t it GOOD for a government agency and the government’s employees (schools and teachers)?

Can someone explain to me why Cavuto didn’t put Grayson on the floor with the OBVIOUS question he SHOULD have asked him when Grayson consistently repeated the tired refrain of attempting to “punish” people in taxpayer owned companies:
“Congressman, WHY do taxpayers even have to own these companies AT ALL?Why in the hell didn’t the government let AIG, GM, Chrysler, et.al. just file bankruptcy and let the chips fall where they may? WHY is the government intervening, period? If they just went bankrupt as they should have there’d be no need for your idiotic, Marxist driven regulation to begin with!!
