LOL. For me, it has nothing to do with homeschooling. I simply don't like traveling to "destination places" like that.
I'd almost rather take a vacation in Baghdad than in Orlando.

I agree with you. My wife and 3 kids just got back from a month in Florida (I flew down to join them for the last week), pulling a camping trailer. They skipped the Mouse and got a lot more educational stuff done while still having a lot of fun. Disneyworld has become badly over-rated and is a sign of hedonistic excess.

We homeschooled in Orlando. In all the years we homeschooled, the mouse house was never on the list of places to go. We bought many year passes to Sea World however and had wonderful times there.
