“I would suggest flying one of our nation’s revolutionary flags as a sign that we are ready if necessary to revolt and fight for the freedoms the founding fathers won for us anew.

Personally I prefer the Continental Navy Rattlesnake Jack over the Gadsden Rattle snake flag, because it sends a dual Message to Mr. Obama as well as the terrorists he is kissing up to.

By an instruction dated 31 May 2002 (SECNAV Instruction 10520.6), the Secretary of the Navy directed the use of the rattlesnake jack in place of the union jack for the duration of the Global War on Terrorism.

As an amateur Vexillologist I would like to point out that the Union Jack described is the flag with only the blue field of 50 white stars normally flown at the bow of a ship when in port or sometimes when underway.

the Continental Navy Rattlesnake Jack has the clear message “DON’T TREAD ON ME” emblazoned on it as a warning to all that would seek to destroy this nation be they foreign or domestic terrorists”

<<<Thanks. Wow lot’s of interesting information. Tho probably not as well understood, it is novel and would generate conversation from passersby when weather warms...why are you flying that flag, etc. Maybe with the green and black ribbons below it.

Green and black ribbons are a little too close to the tricolor of Black Libration that Ayers, Rev.Wright, and the rest used to use for my tastes.

I would also warn about flying our flag upside down as a sign of protest since that is usually done by liberals and antiwar types again mixed messages vs dual messages.

The tea bag on the antenna is a nice gesture but hardly practical, a good rain could stain your car.

A tricorn hat or a cowboy hat with a rosette of red white and blue attached, sends a clearer message.

And is easy to do based upon Fourth of July Materials sold almost everywhere.

they are very similar to the Cockade worn by James Monroe during the French Revolution when he was our envoy there.

Again a simple message with historical overtones, "we have revolted before against tyranny".

I personally have a boonie hat I could turn into a tricorn simply by pinning up three sides, the right side with a rosette and the back and the left bare with safety pins hidden inside the top, or even hand sewed for effect.

Again a clear message sent.
