After 10 years and many thousands of replies, I am leaving FR.
I don't really care, and I don't know why anyone else would.
I am leaving before I am banned (again). Truth doesn't seem to matter on FR. I don't know if it is donations or sympathetic opinions that do, but I have been suspended twice when I followed the rules and the people who complained to the moderators didn't, yet the moderators sided with them.
For the record, evolution is a fact and the Shroud of Turin is a fraud. I would prove it if the admin moderators would let me, but they won't. Your resident "expert", Swordmaker won't debate me because he can't.
I will work to build a forum where members have rights and truth matters.
Merry Christmas
Don’t be hasty.
My faith is in Jesus Christ by the way. There is no Salvation but by Him. Is this your faith?
It sure is.
I guess you were tired of having your posts shredded like ....... well, you know.
Clarification. Good!
(I’ve been sitting here for ten minutes trying to figure out who Sidney Greenfield is/was and why it mattered.)
Who who is? And why DOES he matter?
Those things shred your knuckles, too. I wince when I see them.
I won’t use them.
I still wonder why he called us a lunch mob!
*embarrassed* ...Jeff Greenfield (NY Slime Writer)...Sidney Greenstreet (Good Actor)
lunch=lynch
Some people are prone to typos.
In my case, theres no doubt that evolutionism is a religion of sorts
***That’s why I started posting some of the evo stuff on ecumenical threads under the religion moderator’s tags. It was a relatively successful experiment. I get so sick of the invective on crevo threads.
I won’t miss you and it has nothing to do with evolution. You were just annoying.
Hmmm I didn’t see us as a bunch of lunch ladies anyway.
I don’t doubt it. Bet he didn’t know how to open his locker either.
You reply when people ask you not to,
***Maybe if you read other things besides crevo threads, you’d be up to speed on that issue.
Do not post to me

Thank you so much for the ping, dearest sister in Christ! And yes indeed, I look forward to discussing any of Soliton’s comments about our book!
I was wondering why I should be terrorized by the laughter of some weird anthropologist...:)
[thought maybe the joke was *so* obscure that even I missed it]
;D
evolution is a fact and the Shroud of Turin is a fraud
Now, how can that be, when I was just assured by Coyoteman that truth is not found in science, but in religion?
A nice quote from Bill Bryson (pro-evolution):
“The upshot of all this is that we live in a universe whose age we can’t quite compute, surrounded by stars whose distances we don’t altogether know, filled with matter we can’t identify, operating in conformance with physical laws whose properties we don’t truly understand.”
From a fascinating book he wrote “A short History of Nearly Everything”. Recommended reading for anyone either pro-evolution or not.
In it after much research and study he boils down all we know as barely the tip of the iceberg and what we do know we haven’t known it long. And yet (and he admits this in the book) without any way of proving even the slightest hint of evolution and explaining in detail how even mathematically impossible it is (in interesting detail I might add) his sole proof that evolution is true is because we are here. That’s it, nothing else.
How sad
