I read a post the other day that a Freeper got from Congressman John Linder, Georgia, stating that he would stand and object to Obama if he doesn't show proof of constitutional eligibility.
I emailed Mr. Linder and asked if he did indeed write that email and if he was serious about holding Obama to task on something as serious as this.
A few moments ago I received a phone call from Congressman Linder's office confirming that he intends to do exactly that and he is just as intent as us on verifying Obama's eligibility.
I told his staffer (very nice lady) that I was proud of him and that I appreciated his bravery as I know he is going against the tide with this.
She said that she herself was concerned as she had to show full, long form documentation to even work in the building for a Congressman and we shouldn't be told to just take someone's word for an office as important as POTUS.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that at least one Congressman is standing up to this, even if the SCOTUS doesn't have the nerve to examine what would seem to be a reasonable question.

Chambliss is a RINO. We had to reelect him but he is a RINO. Sarah saved him.
Mitch McConnell might have the guts. I would tell Mitch that KY has the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell and you BETTER make damn sure that this guy meets the Constitutional qualifications because he will probably be sending those boys to die somewhere. This is Mitch’s duty.

Good point. If Obama cannot produce a verified BC he cannot be CIC. He cannot legally send a single US military person anywhere. He cannot ride on AF one. NO 21 gun salutes. No military courtesies will come period.
I think the whole country needs to be versed on the difference between the two. Notice he didn’t say he was a natural born though. Just a US citizen! These guys don’t make any sense at all. Rep. Linder will be my hero is he stands up for us!

Mitch McConnell. As I said in another post - his state of KY is the home of the 101st Airborne Division. He has a duty to the men (and women) who may fight and die to protect the Constitution (SCOTUS won’t lift a finger to protect it) to uphold the Constitution.
Mitch sure as hell better make sure this clown is qualified. The 101st Airborne people are also his constituents who voted for him to REPRESENT them. This means represent them no matter what the MSM says.

Perhaps, but is there any good evidence that Barry is either one? If he was born in Mombasa, Kenya, he is likely neither one.

That is great news! I am hoping that we can also count on the following House members from the state of Florida. BillYoung; Gus Bilirakis; Adam Putnam;...... maybe other Florida Freepers can add to the list.

My understand is that it only takes one House member and one Senator to challenge. Then they go to their respective chambers and the Challenging folks have one hour to make their case and the opposition has an hour to make their case. This happens in both the House and Senate. Then a vote is taken by the House and the Senate to either Accept the Obama/Biden slate with no further action or Reject the slate. If they reject then I guess that means they would require Obama to present proof of his qualifications.

I emailed him through the website and they called me today. At first I freaked a little because it said “US Government” on my caller ID and I’m thinking “I don’t owe any taxes do I???” LOL Needless to say I was totally shocked to hear from that nice lady. I expressed how impressed I was when she confirmed that the email was correct and he was monitoring the situation on the natural born citizen issue.
