Regardless of the question where he was born-—I wonder why there is so little focus on the fact that obama has stood by a fraudulent document. Isn’t forging a federal document a crime?

I think so, but the problem is that it was some underling(s), not Obama himself, who did this. When campaigns violate campaign finance laws, there’s usually a fine or slap on wrist or in worst case the finance director gets in hot water legally. I’m pretty sure the candidate can reasonably claim he isn’t responsible for every single misguided action of literally thousands of campaign workers. To my knowledge, Obama himself never point blank asserted the validity of the document at fight-the-smears etc. As a lawyer, even had he been part of the fraudulent effort, he would be smart enough not to leave behind a smoking gun such as something in writing.
