This is interesting. Souter tells Obama to produce the vault copy by December 1, 2008. I believe the messiah will defy the Justices.

Who will force the issue? Who wants to open up that pandora's box?  Imagine if there is something on that birth certificate that  disqualifies Obama from the office of the President.  What are you going to do? Start a civil war? There will be blood in the streets you try to enforce the rule of law. This should have happened before the election. Obambi knows it too.

At this point, Supreme Court Justice David Souter's Clerk informed Philip J. Berg, the lawyer who brought the case against Obama, that his petition for an injunction to stay the November 4th election was denied, but the Clerk also required the defendants to respond to the Writ of Certiorari (which requires the concurrence of four Justices) by December 1. At that time, Mr. Obama must present to the Court an authentic birth certificate, after which Mr. Berg will respond.

If Obama fails to do that, it is sure to inspire the skepticism of the Justices, who are unaccustomed to being defied. They will have to decide what to do about a president-elect who refuses to prove his natural-born citizenship.

"I can see a unanimous Court (en banc) decertifying the election if Obama refuses to produce his birth certificate," says Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer. "They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution. Even the most liberal justices, however loathe they may to do this, still consider themselves guardians of the Constitution. The Court is very jealous of its power - even over presidents, even over presidents-elect."

Also remember that on December 13, the Electoral College meets to casts its votes. If it has been determined that Mr. Obama is an illegal alien and therefore ineligible to become President of the United States, the Electors will be duty-bound to honor the Constitution.

All I can tell you is go to Warroom.com and listen to Quinn and Rose, yesterday's show. Quinn got phone calls on Wed. morning after the election telling him that the XM Fox News report on the hour was playing the audio of Richardson. He secured the tape of the one that XM played on Channel 158 on their Fox News hourly news and also the older one of Richardson from sometime earlier this year when he addressed La Raza in Spanish with an interpreter. I don't have a copy, but I heard both of them played on his show yesterday morning.

Also, I didn't think to check...someone has been posting a "Quinn and Rose in the Morning" thread on FR, and it might have been discussed on there yesterday.

Apparently, Souter has not asked Obama to produce his vault BC, only to reply to the writ of certiorari by Dec 1 (though that order is not up on the USSC website at this time, so we don’t know for certain if that is for real) and maybe the Court will decide whether to hear the case or not, based on their reply and Berg’s reply to their reply.

So, at this point, it looks like whichever blogger originated this story got it wrong. We’re a long way from anything meaningful actually happening.

I'm not an attorney and don't play one on television, but I thought part of Berg's lack of standing had to do with injury. The court could not assume a victory and could not assume damages. Now that Obama has been elected there is potential damage. Just guessing.

While you have some of this right I believe that the order wasn’t to show a BC by the 1st but that both Berg and Bozo have until Dec 1st to respond with arguments about whether the BC should be shown or not. I don’t think there should have to be arguments, either he is eligible or he isn’t. BTW, your post is typical of CS everywhere that are so afraid of violence you won’t uphold the constitution and force a cheat out of the WH before he can take over. Whether this is true or not, about Bozo being ineligible I mean, I don’t know but I think he should have to prove it, McCain had to and it is a constitutional requirement. Blood in the streets or not, he should have his tail kicked to the curb if he was born in Kenya or some other country.

However, there is a way for you to help “make it stop”. All you have to do is convince Obama that America has the right to see his original birth certificate. It’s really so simple. And speaking of being so simple, why do you think Obama refuses, after alllllllllll this time, to release it? I’ve asked others who hate this subject to please explain, and for some reason, not one of them...NOT ONE OF THEM....will answer my question.
