The word among GOP insiders here in Georgia is that Newt Gingrich is considering throwing his name in the hat to be the next Chairman for the RNC....

I/we would like to see a plan from Newt ASAP on how he intends to recover the Party, and if Conservatism is the basis of his plan before I/we would start to once again contribute to the RNC.
There’s no such thing as Global Warming as defined by the UN, or Algore and minions, so drop that crap Newt.
There’s no such thing as negotiating with the Socialist/Democrats period, so no reaching across the aisle as in recognizing their insanity by raising them one on THEIR issues.
NO RINO’s period should be allowed to run under the umbrella of anything RNC.
Let’s see a plan Newt, and then our support will come if we agree you are on top of it.
Yes!
Did you ever see Newt and his conservative rebels tearing up Clinton and the Dems in after hours speeches for years before 1994? He was the original attack dog.
Peter Ueberroth - former baseball commissioner
How can someone, unconnected to the party bigwigs, (unlike Newt) put their name into the RNC chairman nomination and obtain a hearing/forum to explain what their agenda would be???? Does anyone know???
Newt will be our Howard Dean.
From From New Hampshire, to South Carolina, then on to Georgia, and then South Dakota, then on to . .

“I just called the RNC today and gave them a piece of my mind before telling them to remove my name from their list.”
Hey Mad, I called them too. Tough job they have, but, oh well.
You’re right. He was great back then. Somehow, he isn’t the same.
Are you under the impression that the party chairman decides policy issues for the party?
My point is Newt is has made some interesting choices of late.
Come on man,
Newt has been making nice with the likes of Hillary.
He is too yesterday.
Enough of these old fools, time for some new, real conservative blood.
No problem. Just prove to them that you can lay your hands on $100 million or more for the party.
A good point, I quit paying attention to the RNC, except to send them a few Bush Pesos to support their amnesty efforts.
Still, I think it's a good position for a new true conservative to work and get a little national attention in a leadership position, Newt had his time, now he can help others to shine.
Me neither. In 1994 I had two legs and a wife. Lost them both in 2005.
Great minds think alike! I just did the same thing.

I hope Newt goes for it!
The clear solution is to bypass the RNC, recruit our own candidates, and file a record number of primary challenges.
Go, Newt GO! for sure. It’s time we conservatives took back our party. We need to purge the east coast rinos.
