UTICA, New York - As Election Day nears in the U.S. Presidential race, Democrat Barack Obama has increased his lead to 7.1 points over Republican John McCain, up from a 5.7 point advantage in yesterday's report, the latest Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby daily tracking poll shows.
Pollster John Zogby: "Barack Obama is where he needs to be and John McCain is not. In a multi-candidate race, assuming the minor candidates can win around 2%, 51% can win. Obama holds the groups that he needs and continues to hold a big lead among independents and his base. McCain seems to be holding his base without expanding it or moving into Obama's territory. A reminder: we will have another release based on polling through midnight Monday out early Tuesday."

They should stop all polling the last two weeks. You just cannot accurately predict this time of year with so many activities going on and people not home..

A few thousand death threats from the socialist left and he probably added 3 points weight to the percentage of democrats voting.
Have one... he is one. His brother James, who is a partner in the polling firm, is also president of the Arab American Institute, on the Exec. Committee of the DNC, and on the advisory board of the ACLU. John, himself, is not shy about admitting he is a Democrat. So that should tell you where their biases lie (no pun intended).

have not been polled since 9-15-08 must be all those times I said I voted for Bush last time and I would vote this year
Part of the purpose of the oversampling is to create cover for the inevitable accusation of Republican vote fraud. The pollsters can't all be wrong, so there must be something else going on. That will be the post-election mantra by the Rats and the Obamacentric media. The pollsters will maintain their credibility while still pimping for Obama (peace be upon him).
Your Obama is going to be defeated. You still have one more day of delusional ecstasy.
