The host here is talking to a guy who seems to be connected to some of the GOP bigwigs, who give him internal polling numbers. The audio link is abysmally slow. If this is accurate, and I cannot vouch for it, but it sounds like it might be, we could be in for a really great night of schadenfreude on Tuesday, watching the Chernobyl meltdown on MSNBC.

I have heard rumblings about MI
I doubt CA and NJ
We do take PA
that so effing funny, cause its true...
McCain wins if he gets more votes than Hussein next Tuesday. And that is the only way he wins. I am sick to death of polls.
Actually the BSM (Biased Socialist Media) polling is correct. It is the underlying assumptions they use that is wrong. They use biased assumptions about turnout for Dems, Pubs and Indies. The data is weighted according to this bias.
Even worse, they disregard altogether the extremely high percentage of unanswered calls, assuming the refuse-the-answer households fall roughly in line with the ones who answer. When the refuse-to-answers outnumber the answers by 10 to 1, this is an outrageous leap of faith.
The polls are only as good as the underlying assumptions. And those are highly questionable.
Yep.... if McCain wins this the meltdown on MSNBC will be some of the alltime most entertaining television. I'm going to DVR it.
I’m so very sorry, I didn’t realize that you weren’t referring to the poll at hand.
If McCain/Palin wins, we should say in unison everytime we hear “stolen election” that had it not been for Mickey Mouse, dead people, pets and criminals voting 72 times, it would never have been as close as it was!
Very rude, as well as wrong.
Riot coverage and internal suicide watchs are possibly the only way MSNBC can raise its ratings.
I starting to have some faith that Americans are catching on to the obama fraud perpetrated by media, unions, acorn, and dnc releases. I don’t believe it will be a McCain blowout but I do think average common sense voters will trust their gut and default to the the candidate that has an actual history.
Does anyone have links to FR threads the weekend before the 2006 elections?
Were we not all drinking kool aid then as well, thinking that the Dems would not possibly win back both houses of congress?
I think McCain has a 30% shot at an Electoral win. This stuff about NJ, MI, CA, etc. though is all fantasy.
“Only 2 points behind in California - with 9% undecided and Barr 3%
In Pennsylvania theres a McCain blowout 55 McCain, 33 Obama - with 37% Dems voting McCain (those PUMAs we were talking about from another source) and 14 % undecided - these being DEMOCRATS”
I’m sorry but I don’t buy what this unnamed and unverifiable source is saying. McCain is not down by only two points in California, and is not winning by 22% in Pa. He has a good shot at this thing but those numbers are pure fantasy being peddled by some nameless person.
For the last few weeks I have been seeing a lot of strange postings from posters with a 6/08 or 7/08 sign-up.
Good comment about “dead people, etc voting”.
And if McPalin lose by a smidge, we should be ready to say...next
time the GOP will issue gas masks so folks can stand to go
to the polls.
Despite the putrid atmosphere of all the dead people that obviously
were present at polling places.
Oct. 24-26 Gallup Poll, Carter led Reagan by 3 percentage points, 45% to 42%, among national registered voters.
and a published Gallup poll showing Carter up six among likely voters in a poll conducted Oct. 24 to 27.
Just before Reagan crushed carter 50 - 41
I can tell you this, Hussein sure isn’t acting like a candidate that’s far ahead.
I apologized at #49.
Stop me before I post again...
