I first saw the picture on the UK Daily Mail, the day after the debate.
My husband said it happened before the debate, when McCain wanted to shake hands with the moderator, but the moderator switched direction, so McCain did as well, and made that funny face.

Yes, I was very pleased to see McCain last night. I never knew he had such a great sense of humor and the good timing to pull off the jokes.
Hussein, on the other hand, was mean and hateful. Nothing comfortable about him.
