Why Is Obama Paying Lawyers Instead of Producing Birth Certificate?
Last week a Judge Ordered Senator to produce his birth certificate, Yesterday the Senator's lawyers have filed for a delay of the order. Now I know most people think that the "birth certificate" issue is as legitimate as the tooth fairy. But My question to them is, if it is so illegitimate, why is the Senator paying lawyers instead of just giving the birth certificate document to the Judge?

Country is Headed to a Constitutional Crisis
(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 10/06/08) - Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced today that Obama and Democratic National Committee [DNC] filed a Joint Motion for Protective Order to Stay Discovery Pending a Decision on the Motion to Dismiss (which was) filed on 09/24/08.
While legal, Berg stated he is “outraged as this is another attempt to hide the truth from the public; it is obvious that documents do not exist to prove that Obama is qualified to be President.” The case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083.
Their joint motion indicates a concerted effort to avoid the truth by attempting to delay the judicial process, although legal, by not resolving the issue presented: that is, whether Barack Obama meets the qualifications to be President.
It is obvious that Obama was born in Kenya and does not meet the “qualifications” to be President of the United States pursuant to our United States Constitution. Obama cannot produce a certified copy of his “Vault” [original long version] Birth Certificate from Hawaii because it does not exist.
Furthermore, and actually more important is Obama’s Certificate of Citizenship that he received when he returned from Indonesia, as if it exists it would indicate that Obama was “naturalized” and also not able to be President.
The DNC has promised “we the people” an Open and Honest Government and has promised to uphold our United States Constitution. The DNC has failed their promise. DNC Chairperson Howard Dean should resign as he has not and is not fulfilling his responsibility of seeing that a “qualified” candidate is on the ballot as the Democratic candidate for President of the United States.
Berg stated that a response in opposition will be filed in the next day or so to the Defendants Motion for a Protective Order.

No, the judge has ordered nothing. This is another myth that won't die.
Even on Berg's own website, where they posted a notice that this was a myth and people were misunderstanding what they saw in the filing document, people are still posting this myth and even trying to argue with Berg himself that it's true.
How sad is that?

He informed me that a rumor is circulating on the Internet that the Court has ruled on the Motion to Dismiss filed by Senator Obama and the Democratic National Committee in the Berg v. Obama case. Some of the visitors to this website have posted comments claiming the Court has ruled. The comments on this site were written by visitors to the site.
On Mr. Berg's behalf, I am posting this to state clearly the Court has not yet ruled on the Motion to Dismiss in Berg v. Obama.
And the myths just keep coming.
If by "watermark" you mean the embossed seal of the Hawaiian Department of Health, it's there. It's just a rather bad scan with the contrast jacked way up. This was debunked shortly after the higher resolution image was posted on FactCheck.org.

In the upper left, there are links to nine different photographs.
There are only three qualifications to hold the office of President. Thirty-five years of age, natural born citizen, fourteen years a resident of the US.
That's it.
Oh, and of course you first have to have received the requisite number of electoral votes. ;)
But to add anything else, you'd need to amend the Constitution.

It is not an “Application to the Illinois Bar.”

I have to agree with you. Seeing those photos, it jives EXACTLY with mine including the Stamp from the State registrar with the Department of Health, and the watermark looks just like mine. The date of the stamp on mine is “ MAR 6 2007” The certificate in the photos presented looks as legit as the one I have that I know is legit.
I have to conclude that Obama was indeed born in Hawaii.
The 151 in the Certificate number matches mine also.
There's no credible evidence that he ever lost his US citizenship in the first place. And if he never did lose his US citizenship, there would be no Certification of Citizenship for him to provide or for anyone to request via the FOIA.
There is evidence however that Berg misread the laws he cites to "prove" that Obama lost his US citizenship, and in fact the laws he cites actually refute Berg's claim.

That's ultimately what got both of the suits against McCain tossed out. Lack of standing on the part of the plaintiff. However one of those cases, Robinson v. Bowen, went into detail as to why the court has no reason to step in at this time.

I thought from the beginning it should go before a state court to challenge the SOS placement of Obama on the state ballot.
That would certainly be the more appropriate place at this time as I have said it is a state issue up until the electors have cast their votes.
But even at the state level, I believe you'd face the same issues with regard to standing.
It would save time and lots of attorney money to just produce the document.
Obama was born in Kenya.

This myth got started when someone saw Obama's entry in the ARDC master roll of attorneys and erroneously assumed that the "Full Former name(s)" box had to do with names used at any time in their life and that it was somehow related to the Illinois Bar application.
So they just as erroneously claimed that Obama had lied on his Illinois Bar application.
This myth grew legs over at the TexasDarlin blog, which is where Berg got most of the stuff which he little more than copied and pasted into his lawsuit.
Berg never exercised any due diligence and never questioned or researched any of the claims. He just dumped them into the lawsuit. Which is why included in his original filing was reference to a Canadian birth certificate that was posted on the Internet.
The Canadian birth certificate in question was made up as a joke (posted on rense.com) and signed by :Dudley Doright," a cartoon character from the old Bullwinkle show.
Well, to get technical, one can really only conclude that at this point, there hasn't been any credible evidence to support that he was born anywhere else.
Which it should if you were born in Hawaii. "151" is the state code for Hawaii so all Hawaiian certificate and certification numbers will begin with "151."
They have tried, repeatedly, to get FactCheck to post full page, flatbed scans of the CoLB in question ( as was done with the previous CoLB's ) and they have refused.
Here's the 64,000 dollar question that the Obama apologists on this thread simply cannot answer :
Why in the hell is it OK for FactCheck to get its hands on a copy of Obama's CoLB but NOT OK for an actual Court of Law to obtain a certified copy of the long form...???

No. What Berg is saying, and why he ammended his suit, is that the DNC has perpetrated a fraud upon registered Democrats. Berg implys that the DNC KNOWS that Obama is not an eligible candidate and is still supporting and advancing this fraud upon registered Democrats by blocking the release of documents that would reveal the truth about their Democrat Party candidate Obama and his ability to meet the Constitutional requirements for Presidential candidates.
These are criminal fraud charges against Obama and the DNC.
