This myth got started when someone saw Obama's entry in the ARDC master roll of attorneys and erroneously assumed that the "Full Former name(s)" box had to do with names used at any time in their life and that it was somehow related to the Illinois Bar application.
So they just as erroneously claimed that Obama had lied on his Illinois Bar application.
This myth grew legs over at the TexasDarlin blog, which is where Berg got most of the stuff which he little more than copied and pasted into his lawsuit.
Berg never exercised any due diligence and never questioned or researched any of the claims. He just dumped them into the lawsuit. Which is why included in his original filing was reference to a Canadian birth certificate that was posted on the Internet.
The Canadian birth certificate in question was made up as a joke (posted on rense.com) and signed by :Dudley Doright," a cartoon character from the old Bullwinkle show.
