Top Ten Rock & Roll Bands?
Posted on 07/27/2008 3:26:41 PM PDT by Bobarian
Okay, FRiends. It's a lazy Sunday afternoon and I need a distraction from Obamamania. Anybody care to debate the top ten rock & roll bands?
Not necessarily personal favorites, but in terms of influence, endurance and popularity.
I think the top four, in no particular order, would have to include:
The Doors
The Rolling Stones
The Beatles
Led Zeppelin

I would agree with Jefferson Airplane if they hadn’t morphed into Starshit.

Hocus Pocus? C’mon, one-hit wonder, but Focus is a rockin’ tune.

Interesting, ‘cause I always got Focus confused with Frankenstein, for some reason.

Everybody was new once. The n00b line is an old and tired one, usually used when someone doesnt have anything creative or original to say. No different than Obama saying everyone who doesnt vote for him is doing so because theyre racist. Its the easy way out, no? It's like natural age. It indicates something. And then, some people never outgrow childhood.
You haven't been here long enough, imho, to post softcore pornography and lecture me.
So get lost.

I said "lazy" not "bored".
Bohemian Rhapsody is not on the album Three Songs by Queen That Don't Totally Suck.
