*The birth announcement was tracked down by Lori Starfelt, the producer of a documentary that PUMA is working on.
Obama tried to have wording added to that resolution stating that a child born overseas to an unwed female U.S. citizen would automatically be considered a natural born citizen.

In McCain's case, it is irrelevant where he was born, because the location was due to military assignment. It could have been the Kremlin bathroom for all it matters (and by his politics, it could be!).
I guess she was referring to no pictures of Obama Sr and Obama Jr until Jr. was 10 years old.

The McCaskill bill, submitted immediately after she scrawled it onto a notepad on the Senate floor in response to the Times story, would establish the eligibility of anyone born to a U.S. citizen who is serving overseas as an active or reserve member of the U.S. armed forces. The Arizona senator’s father was a Navy officer serving in the Canal Zone when McCain was born there in 1936.

Exit question: Was this entire story, which seemed too stupid for even the Times to run, a “set” to Obama and McCaskill’s “spike?” In other words, was this a set up to produce an absurd left-wing talking point that the left itself could attack in order to make its rather radical and far-to-the-left Presidential candidate look more mainstream?

What obama really needed to be included was the words: ‘Having served overseas as an active or reserve member of the U.S. armed forces or their descendants...’
THAT would have solved his problem nicely. His Grandfather, Stanly Dunham served in Patton’s Third Army during WW2 - he enlisted after the attack on Pearl Harbour.

Just as the COLB was produced after Hillary suspended her campaign is suspicious timing, so, too, is the appearance of the newspaper announcement when the forgery discussion is becoming dominant also suspicious timing.

But to give up on REQUIRING him to prove that he is an Art II Sec. 1 “natural born citizen” is to give up on the constitution. There are only 2 constitutional requirements for president and we should insist that he abide by both of them. This is not a subsidiary matter. It is of vital importance to a constitutional republic. As of this moment I believe that he is probably a natural born citizen, but that fradulent COLB o hi webite does NOT prove it. The actual birth certificate probably shows that his parents were not married, or thast his religion is listed as “Muslim” and exposes him for the liar that we all know that he is. Were he to win (God forbid!!) and it is proven that he is not constitutionally “natural born”, the resultant fallout could trigger a civil war. Let’s get that out of the way now, and most of us will simply drop this and move on to other things.

One thing I’m sure of now - the Democrats are trying to hide anomalous background information on Obama - they must be scared stiff of damaging info popping up from out there.
