A Timeline

1965 (15 Sept)

Demolition of the old terminal building at HNL was completed.

The picture of Obama and his dad could not have taken place inside the old terminal building in 1971.

That's what I thought. So now we have to confirm whether that photo was taken in the old terminal. Based on the structure of the counters, the same poles and pole signs, the same ceiling and lighting, the same lit wall signage (Pan American in the Old Terminal photo, Phillipine Airlines/Japan Airlines in the Obama photo)... I'd say they are in the old terminal. The Obama photo was probably taken from a different vantage point/different counter/facing a different direction from the Old Terminal photo.

What is different is the lack of high windows above the lit wall sign. I don't know if that was only on one side of building or on both sides. Judging from the To Gates sign, I'd say they put the high windows on the side facing the runways, and the other side, facing the street, had a solid wall.

I'm still looking for more pictures.

I think I found the same site that pic of the Old Terminal came from. Just to complicate things a bit, I found this site, where this 1971 terminal map of Honolulu airport shows the Phillipines and Japan airlines in the same relative positions as what the signs in the background of the Obama photo suggests. It also shows a large Pan Am section in the opposite perspective, also giving credence to the 1960 Old Terminal photo, which had the same counters, poles, and signs, in a way that would not show the other airlines.

The copyright on the map is 1971. If the old terminal was demolished in the early 1960's, what terminal did the Hawaii Aviation site show and label as the old terminal?

It could not have been Malik either as he would not have been 10 in 1962 since he was born around 1959.

So that picture had to be taken in 1972 and it is Barack as a 10-11 year old.

If you look at the birth certificates of the ones we know that are authentic you will see they both have 521 (if I recall) which is probably the county code, then the next number is their very own birth year. I don't know what the next numbers stand for. So if Obama's was legit we would have 521-1961-xxxxxxx. Someone could probably figure out what the last ones mean and fill them in.

The gin bottle is far from empty. Good. I have a lot of tasting/sipping to do yet. And I took your advice…No vermouth. Yeck!!!

I have decided that next time I have a nasty cut or something, I’m going to pour gin on it. I believe gin can kill any and all germs. It may even kill head lice for those who suffer so from such an infestation.

Spunky, IMO you've identified the catch 22 he finds himself in. The last numbers are crucial. If the last numbers on obama's 'certificate' were say, to be 1234, the one before would be 1233, the following 1235. To use ANY NUMBER, say IF 1234 BELONGED TO SOMEONE ELSE...would be FRAUD, would it not?

Actually, his birth certificate states it very clearly. He was born in the Republic of Panama and not in the Canal Zone. It is just good to have a second verification of this when things explodes...and it should, or our Constitution is a worthless piece of paper.

I sure would think it would. I didn't recall the first numbers correctly apparently they are 151.
