OK, I’ve turned it on. I can type nonsense like this like I always do. How do I open up a new window by clicking on what I want to open up.
I used to right click on my screen name and my homepage would come up. Help.
What kind of mouse do you have? What are you trying to open?

First of all what do you have. If it’s a 24” imac congradulations.
The first thing that is different is that the menu for your application does not reside in its’ window.
The menu for any window is always at the top of your computer screen.
So get used to that.
Do you have a mighty mouse with a little ball in the center?
If so you can lean to the left on it for left clicking and lean to the right on it for right clicking.
If you squeeze it in the midde (left and right sides) all your windows that are open will appear at once.
this is kind of like the process of going from a stick shift to an automatic that’s all...
simply find the internet browser of your choice along the dock at the bottom of your page... just drag the mouse down there and double click... you should go to a default home page...
to change the home page click on the apple or file menu with the browser open and look up internet prefs... it is so easy to set this up in a week you’re going to be of your mind happy with your purchase
It’s not Windows so don’t expect everything to act like Windows.
There have been a number of studies that concluded that people who are really proficient at Windows often have a hard time using the Mac, so it isn’t just you.
Just take a night or two to explore and not worry about trying to be productive.
I use OS X and Windows XP both, but I only use Windows because I have to.
Click twice fast with the left mouse button and you will see Dr. Evil.
