First of all what do you have. If it’s a 24” imac congradulations.
The first thing that is different is that the menu for your application does not reside in its’ window.
The menu for any window is always at the top of your computer screen.
So get used to that.
Do you have a mighty mouse with a little ball in the center?
If so you can lean to the left on it for left clicking and lean to the right on it for right clicking.
If you squeeze it in the midde (left and right sides) all your windows that are open will appear at once.

To enable the left and right clicking with the Mighty Mouse, you have to configure it first. Open System Preferences under the Apple menu and select Keyboard & Mouse.
