Zombie attacks might increase due to global warming, study shows

A new study by scientists has suggested that zombie attacks might increase if the current projections of global warming are realized. “If the earth gets warmer, it means longer springs, summers, and falls, and shorter winters,” said John Carpenter-Romero, Ph.D., a zombie-ologist who co-authored the study. “And shorter winters means more time for the undead to prey on the populace.”

Dr. Harrister, the other co-author, and head of Zombie Robotics at Wayward Robot, Inc., explained that cold winters typically stalled the walking dead. “It is well known that zombies can’t operate in cold weather. It freezes their brains.”

The pair calculated a 32.782412% increase in zombie attacks if CO2 increased to twice its pre-industrial rate. “Clearly, this is a very troubling result,” said Dr. Harrister, “If we don’t do something soon, the streets will be filled with blood.”

Hopefully that will be sooner, rather than later.

As long as there are plenty of tortillas, enchiladas y tamales, y mucho vino, I’ll be there! Let me know when he’s going to show up! LOL!

(I learned how to make an “autentico tortilla” when I was 15! Next was a burrito!)

You betcha! Some folks just need to be dead. We’ll break out the blender and hand out rum drinks to the whole neighborhood. Anoreth is going to write “Fidelito es Muerto!” on the street with chalk!

We’ve been practicing Cuban beans and pork roast for about a year. Tamales are Mexican - there have been some great ones at the social after our Spanish Mass in the last few months. I used to not like tamales, but now I know better.

I love tamales!
I have also gained a great appreciation for Cuban food.
When I worked n Culver City (Los Angeles) there was a Cuban cafe about three doors down. The experiments were worth everything I paid, which really wasn’t much!
Tamales are pretty versatile. I like the “wedding” tamales, with the white corn meal and raisins.

Yep.
I could go three hours down the highway to Miami and watch the celebration there.

"You can’t write a death scene of a nemesis?"

You don't remember Ramal, of the broad shoulders and odd habits?

Poor Ramal, to be so unremembered, after he put such dedication into his work.

Um...I was thinking more in terms of a guy who “did everything right.”

Broad shoulders and odd habits aren’t worth much if he doesn’t have the clever mind to go with with it. (So he can live to fight another day, of course!)

Whoa...I didn’t think you’d still be up...

Just finished a hot part that a customer needed by tomorrow.

Getting ready to don my a$$less chaps for the ride home. It was at least 80 out in the sun today, but I imagine that with the wind chill it will be in the 30s riding through the canyon. Nice way to end the day.

Hee-hee!
One never knows what the ‘Face will do!
When I think of a$$less chaps, I think of the movie, “Armed and Dangerous,” with John Candy, Meg Ryan and ... ???Levy. That was SUCH a good movie!
(I gotta buy that thing!)

“Armed and Dangerous” is one of those John Candy sleeper movies that should NEVER have been a “sleeper!”
I have to find it and buy the damn thing because it’s so friggin’ funny!
