Since you attacked someone’s belief in creation, let me phrase my point this way:
Your belief in evolution is identical to their belief in creation.
You are on no more solid ground in your belief of evolution, than they are in their belief of creation.
Neither have been proven scientifically.
Throw up all the arguments and definitions you care to.
Science is science. It deals with things that actually exist, AND can be proven through observation.
Anything short of that is belief. Evolution is belief. Creation is belief.
From a purely scientific viewpoint, neither is more valid than the other, because neither have been proven scientifically.
You didn't read a thing I posted, did you?
Proof has no place in science. Science builds and tests theories.
The theory of evolution is a theory.
Creation "science" is a religious belief dishonestly masquerading as a scientific theory. It has not undergone the testing, affirmation, and successful predictions required of a scientific theory. It is being pushed as science (now under the guise of ID) in a dishonest attempt to get creationism into the high school science classes, where it has absolutely no business.
Those who say, evolution is "just a theory" and "it is not proven science" are either woefully ignorant of how science works, or blatantly dishonest in their arguments.
Until you can come up with better arguments, something that hasn't been refuted decades ago, I am not going to bother any longer with your posts.
Really? Where do you claim that Coyoteman was "attacking someone's belief in creation"? Perhaps you should either quote him actually doing so, or apologize for your false accusation.
Your belief in evolution is identical to their belief in creation. You are on no more solid ground in your belief of evolution, than they are in their belief of creation.
You are highly mistaken.
Neither have been proven scientifically.
Again, you are stuck on misusing the word "proven". However, evolution has certainly been scientifically validated countless times over, whereas not only has "creation" not been scientifically validated, but many of its specific claims have been found to be incompatible with the scientific evidence.
Throw up all the arguments and definitions you care to.
...and you'll continue to not bother to learn from it. Duly noted.
Science is science. It deals with things that actually exist, AND can be proven through observation.
Such as evolutionary processes.
Anything short of that is belief. Evolution is belief. Creation is belief.
No, evolution is a field of science. Creation is not.
From a purely scientific viewpoint, neither is more valid than the other, because neither have been proven scientifically.
Wrong again.
You haven’t learned the “rules” of argument for evolution. Special creation violates the “rules” of science (as defined by evolutionists) that all phenomena must be shown to be the result of natural processes. By this definition, they rule out creation, but they don’t tell you that outright. That’s why they say creation is religion and not science, because they make the “rules.” One billion pieces of truth will never convince them if they don’t fit the profile that they have set up. It’s not a level playing field.
