I have seen some blog posts on conservative sights supporting "Operation America Rising" and was ready to jump on board. I visited the site and was unable to get any real information on the person or persons backing it.
After contacting a couple of friends we came up with scanty information.
There is something about this I don't like. Matt Buff is not the guy's real name according to his website. How can he propose to head up such a huge project and do it anonymously?
As of last night his myspace link has some serious porn on it and is a jumble of stuff but the guy is supposed to be a web designer.

He has posted all over IMC (home to the rad left).
which led to this: youtubepolitics.org
The realamericantruth.com resolves to IP addr. 208.109.14.107 which is owned by GoDaddy software. All this means is that the site owner bought their domain name from GoDaddy.
It is hosted on a server at IP addr. 88.198.39.133. This server is located somewhere in Germany and is owned by Hetzner Online AG.
The same thing is true for operationamericarising.com. Domain name from GoDaddy, hosted on the same server in Germany.
youtubepolitics.org, the lefty site referred to by Operation America Rising's Richmond page is slightly different, the domain name is owned by NTT America, Inc. But once again, the server is the same one in Germany, 88.198.39.133.
I hate to say I smell a rat and hope I am wrong, but...
If anyone can add background information to this please do so.

Hey, it was cached out there on the web, I didn’t do anything except a simple Google search to turn it up. Now if it turns out that someone is scamming and targeting an innocent, then I’m sorry to repeat it. But a lot of us aren’t hard to find with some simple searching. That’s how I got Dede Miller’s email address and conversed with her (that’s Cindy’s sister).

These are just folks like us, who have an idea, and are running with it.
No different than what PW tries to do every weekend somewhere in the world.
They just want to do it on a massive scale, on one day, in every major city in the country.

I broke down and gave him posting priveleges on my blog.
He hasn't posted yet, because he's working on his MBA, courtesy of CapOne.
There's hope for that kid yet, in spite of who his daddy is.
My son’s buddies from Kings Bay were trying to locate him after he went to Iraq and put up a MySpace page in his name. He told me I may not want to see it so I haven’t looked. He is into the Facebook thing and keeps in touch with cousins and friends through it. Haven’t looked there either.
