Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy will be the guest of honor next month at a major fundraiser for one of the lead homophobic organizations in Indiana, the Indiana Family Institute. The IFI is affiliated with super homophobe James Dobson and his extreme right, anti-gay Focus on the Family.
But what's even worse, the Colts appear to have endorsed the fundraiser, apparently permitting their logo to appear on the event's official flyer, and permitting the coach to appear in the flyer in uniform and on the job.
Yes, in America you have the right to be a homophobic bigot and lend your name to help intolerant anti-civil-rights groups raise money. But that doesn't make it right. I seriously hope Tony Dungy and the homophobic Colts won't be popping up in any commercials for any companies any time soon, or there will be hell to pay.
Anything that gets these people angry can only be a good thing.
Very interesting. Now Dungy -- the first African American coach to win a Super Bowl, as the liberal drive-bys reminded us incessantly -- is some kind of bigot, and so are the Colts.
Puh-leeze!
So what questions should one ask himself in order to understand this assertion?
1. What is a "Homophobe"?
A- Anyone who is "afraid" of homosexuals.
2. How does one determine that James Dobson is a "homophobe.?
A- he does not practice, nor promote the homosexual lifestyle, as a viable alternative to normal sexual relations for human beings. He asserts that the gay lifestyle is personally self destructive, and destructive to society at large.
3.What exactly is the extreme right/ anti- gay Focus on the Family?
A- It is a Christian advocacy group that is not in lock step with the current "Godless" humanistic world view towards individuals and families, and is organized to help promote good and healthy traditional values and morals for families world wide, in order to secure the best life possible for the future generations of children.
Placed into the proper context, it is very easy to see why a pro pervert group would lash out at James Dobson, and Focus on the Family.
But why did they have to have to do it through citing Dungy?
It was the only way to get press so they could trash Dobson and his organization yet again.
Wow. This daughter of rabid old-Baltimore fans has a new respect for the so-called Colts now....
Actually, "homophobe" is completely made up and has no good meaning. It would NOT mean "fear of men", but fear of HUMANS. Or, it would be fear of sameness. Of course, the latter is the antithesis of marxism, but they definitely fit the former.
oh yeah, they hate focus on the family with all their beings. They would quake with glee if someone from FOTF divorced and they would have seizures of ecstasy if something like Haggards situation arose.

Or it is an objection on moral grounds to a lifestyle which I find unacceptable. But there is NO fear.
agree, I certainly am not afraid of the practitioners of that form of deviancy.
It's enough to make one proud to be a Hoosier.
The irony is stunning. Talk about "hate speech".
Sounds like they could use some financial assistance...
"...Someone (me?) needs to start a campaign to educate people in the proper use of words!..."
I have a word you can start with. Heterophobe. Throw it back in their faces. If they don't like it, TOUGH.
The truth is that "Focus on the Family" is the most gay-friendly organization in America.
While others tell gays to do what they want, Focus continually, in all seriousness, reminds homosexuals that their behavior is killing them decades earlier than the general population dies.
Who is your real friend? Someone telling you to continue a behavior that is killing you, or someone trying to get you to change?
Who is the child's real friend? The mother who lets it play in the middle of the street, or the mother who keeps a watchful eye on it?
"homophobic" hate group? who is "hating" now?
Being from Indiana originally I can honestly say that gay men are accepted much better then feminists, liberals, and in most cases, other races. Please already, why is it that people always want to attack when certain people of status they look up to go and spend a little time playing in another sandbox?
i guess b/c complaining gets attention.
