It is sooooo easy to get under the skin of the Democrats. All you have to do is tweak them with the word "Democrat" used as an adjective as in "Democrat Party." President Bush did this last night during his SOTU when referring to the new "DEMOCRAT majority" and today you would have thought he committed the crime of the century. Democrats absolutely can't stand being called Democrats which is precisely the reason why we will continue to call them Democrats. It is FUn to see them throw a conniption fit over a mere word. It's like we can control their nerve endings. You want to see a Democrat suddenly go berserk? Then just say "Democrat." HA! HA! HA! HA! Meanwhile, these same Democrats think it is perfectly okay to call Republicans "Rethugs," "Nazis," or a lot of other pejoratives. There were several DUmmie and KOmmie threads where the Democrats went out of control over this word starting with this THREAD titled, "THAT DAMN BASTARD! 'DEMOCRAT MAJORITY!'" So let us now watch the DUmmies and KOmmies work themselves into a lather over "Democrat" in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, enjoying the spectacle of easily tweaked Democrats, is in the [brackets]:

I was so pissed when John "Boner" used "Democrat party" in introducing Nancy Pelosi. He knew what he was saying and it was for the benefit of his Rethug buddies.

"Democrat" as an adjective sounds like an epithet, and makes people recoil. It has the hard sound of "shit" and similar aggressive terms of anger and condemnation. It is no accident that the whole of the Republican world uses it. Even some newspeople use it as well, a dead giveaway as to where they're coming from.

It's the Democrats' fault. Seriously, they never ever call bullshit on this. They always allow them to get away with it--whether it is on TV talkshows or on C-SPAN, never once have I seen any Democrat correct a right wing thug on this.

Every day on my way to work, I pass window signs in a certain office that say: "Want a Change? Vote Democrat." By the way, that office is the local headquarters of the Democrats. These idiots don't even realize that their own workers routinely use the term DUmmies revile.
At least my SIL owns up to the label "liberal". When I want to irritate her, icall her a socialist or a commie (depending on the topic we are discussing).
She got really pi$$ed when I referred to her copy of the NYSlimes as "Pravda".

For some reason this is one of the most shocking DUFU threads I've ever read. It doesn't upset me like their conspiracy theories, it just leaves me in amazement. These people are so condescending and have such a need to feel superior that when Chimpy calls them (gasp) democrats they get outraged. It reminds me of the Muslim clerics who refer to infidels as pigs and then have world-wide riots over a cartoon.

Hey now! I am considered by most of my "progressive" relatives to be a "hick" since we live way out in a rural area that is 95% conservative. *pouts* I'll cry!
Besides the illegal drugs, they also have had threads discussing all the prescription drugs they take. One of my favorites (wish I had time to find a link) some guy quit taking his meds because they were making him "hear voices in his head - and not the usual ones". Surely that was a lousy Freeper troll and not a real post, but it was still way funny.
