CARTER CENTER TO HOLD HOLOCAUST DENIAL CONFERENCE



(Atlanta) -- The Jimmy Carter Center for Peace and Anti-Semitism has announced plans to hold a Holocaust Denial Conference on April 20, 2007, the 118th birthday of Adolf Hitler, who is generally regarded as the godfather of the burgeoning academic discipline of Holocaust Denial Studies.

"We are excited to be hosting the largest conference on Holocaust Denial Studies since the Nuremberg Conference of 1936," said Dr. Theophilus "Skeeter" Dupree, who is the Stonewall Jackson Professor of Holocaust Denial Studies at Emory University and chairman of the Carter Center's anti-Semitic outreach programs..............
