Dear America: What Will You Do When G.W. Bush Surrenders to Mexico?

Dear America: What Will You Do When G.W. Bush Surrenders to Mexico?

drudgereport.com

Picture the ugly scene, if you have the heart and or stomach:

A breaking news bulletin interrupts regular broadcasting during prime time. Television cameras zoom in on the White House where a historic piece of legislation is being about to become law by virtue of approval by President G.W. Bush.

At the center of the stage sits President Bush, smiling broadly at the Democrats and RINOs who made amnesty for illegal aliens possible. That would include Democrat senators Reid and Kennedy, and Republicans Frist and McCain. The U.S. House would be represented by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the Sanchez sisters, and other advocates for illegal aliens.

With a stroke of his presidential pen, G. W. Bush will grant legal status to the 12-20 million illegal alien criminals who have invaded America since 1986, when wholesale amnesty was last granted. Once Bush is finished, former illegal aliens will comprise anywhere from 3-8% of the total United States population.

Nearly all of the "hardworking, goodhearted" illegal aliens that Bush will legalize will vote Democrat for the remainder of their lives, thereby effectively ending the two party system in America.

Mexicans still living in Mexico, but disenchanted with life there, will see the latest amnesty as a sure sign that invading America can be accomplished with impunity. It will be abundantly clear that America's "conservative" president is adamant in his refusal to enforce U.S. borders and immigration laws.

Thus, scores of millions of additional illegal aliens will head north with little or no concern for U.S. borders and immigration laws.

G.W. Bush will go down in history as the president who actively campaigned for the invasion of America by foreigners from a third-world nation. He will be remembered as the president who discarded American sovereignty, rule of law, language, and culture in exchange for cheap lettuce and fruit.

He will also be remembered as the president who sent American men and women 8,000 miles from home to fight for Iraq and Afghanistan, but who abandoned the American people at our southern border.

Finally, G.W. Bush will be remembered as the president who abandoned the Republican party and consigned it to permanent minority status.

John Lillpop is a recovering liberal, 'clean and sober' since 1992 when last he voted for a Democrat. Pray for John: He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where people like Nancy Pelosi are considered reasonable! Writing is his passion. He loves creating lively copy with irony and humor!

Do us all a favor and tell us all when you bought FR. Oh, you didn't? GOOD! :-)

Poor little nonsequitur, getting no respect. I read it just as closely as you did the Kindleberger book you pretended to read. lol.

What's the matter, did you want some points for dissenting from your OBL pals? Would you feel better if I said you are full of poop in dismissing Eisenhower's Operation Wetback as being insignificant? He shipped back more than a million people, a considerable number taking account of the population of the 1950s.

"I'm curious- were you warning complacent Republicans that they had better address illegal immigration or risk losing Congress?"

"Or are you part of the faction that said nothing, and now want to blame conservatives for Republicans losing the House?'

Neither. I don't think there is 'a reason' republicans lost the house. The GOP lost 29 seats or so. Each loss had it's own reasons. When you add it all up there were several reasons why we lost. However, here on FR, everyone with a pet peeve before the election is now claiming that all these losses would not have occured 'if only...'.

That said, look at how the democrats did take control. They did not insist upon ideological purity. They recruited candidates hand-tailored to specially selected districts. These candidates were called conservatives but in reality, they were as liberal as each district would accept and still win election. We, as conservatives, need to steal this page and recruit similar candidates for similar districts. They won't be as conservative on all issues as I would like, but they will be as conservative as they can be and still win back the majority. We do this, or we remain a minority.

We, as conservatives, need to grasp the fact that politics is like football, you win by maintaining possession of the ball and by making small incremental gains. This country is too narrowly divided to think that every district in every state will elect the same type of conservative.

Poor, poor Pelham, who has been thread jumping, pounding out nothing but worthless, nasty replies to everyone and anyone who dares to have another opinion and knows far more than he does.

Did you decided that attending your remedial reading comprehension class wasn't worth it? Trust me, it is and you need to go back to it! I didn't "dismiss" what Ike's border policies were. I stated that the presidents after him didn't do anything!

Get someone who can actually read with fluidity and comprehension to read FR for you and then explain it all, in words easy enough for you to understand.

Alas, nonsequitur, you're not available to read to me. sniff. So I'll just soldier on, with my remedial reading comprehension untreated.

Oh, I see, you know nobody, who actually has competent reading comprehension skills. That figures.;^)

Give the man a see-gar! I'm always amazed by those folks who can divine a Grand Message out of a national election. I figure it's a sideline business for a lot of them, horse race tip-sheets being their real job.

Excellent post.

This wave of immigration is different for a lot of reasons, as you well know. I'd like to see freepers on the same page. This is part of the disconnect that hasn't helped Republicans.

Move to Mexico I guess. If Bush gets his shamnesty program there will be a lot of space down there.

You didn't like my opinions on the subject THEREFORE you attacked me personally

I've been a CA resident since 1965 until recently. And you will next tell me I cannot comment on CA because I'm not in your special victim class anymore.

I have thought about what it must be like, what the world must be like, when the core of one's existence amounts to: SEND THEM HOME, and the entire world and all issues in it pertain to that one mantra SEND THEM HOME/seal the border.

The WOT and what is going on in the mid-east must seem as a trifling, and of little comfort to them.

Thank you for your list, TheLion.

So, what did you think of his list? Still think We don't have a problem?

After reading through the rest of this thread, I see how divisive this subject is for Conservatives. 75% of this thread was simply ugly name calling with little substance.
If I were a lurker, looking in, I would think this was a bunch of idiots trying to see who could make the best insult.

We all have a problem to solve here. Without reasonable, coherent and logical conversation, We're never going to come together as the political force We claim to be.

Pre-election results, this was worth discussing. I know I have tried discussing this and was called endless ad hominems for my efforts, Bush-Bot, being the tamest of the terms.

Maybe, one day on FR, a sensible discussion can be had. I appreciate your effort, nonetheless.

There seems to be a bit of a discussion going on this thread. You might find better satisfaction for a discussion, there.

Thanks for the link! This issue has turned from people who want our country's laws enforced to a *blame game* on why We lost the election. Very clever how the OBL has managed to twist this into something it's not.

So, got any comments on TheLions list of reasons why illegal immigration is harming this country?

"So.. everything is amnesty?"

No, but a "pathway to citizenship" certainly is.
