I think Kerry and Kennedy ought to offer... up legislation in the mean time CODIFYING Roe v. Wade, and privacy rights, so that it doesn't matter any more who sits on the supreme court. It's time to fight for PRINCIPLE instead of party. Oddly enough... that's what should have been done to start with instead of the Supreme Court legislating from the bench. The legislature should have acted if they wanted abortion to be the law of the land, and put it to a vote.

The time has come for a party split. Progressive Democrats can more effectively leverage our numbers if we take the 20 odd senators and 80 or so reps and form a new party with better discipline and a unified party platform.
And that unified platform would be...Bush Sucks. (Of course.)
To: PJ-Comix
On the positive side they now want to fight other liberals instead of us. Of course, nothing will come of it.
The scary things about these idiots is that if they had a charismatic leader they truly would make the leap to dangerous.

Boo hoo. Too late. Didn't. Oh well.
This guy doesn't have to advocate kicking the moderates out of the Dem party. Anyone with a modicum of sanity will eventually leave (as I did).

I think Kerry and Kennedy ought to offer... up legislation in the mean time CODIFYING Roe v. Wade, and privacy rights, so that it doesn't matter any more who sits on the supreme court. Does this mean they're finally admitting Roe v. Wade should be handled as a legislative matter, not in the courts?

He already lost a big pot by betting on an inside straight. More like a queen-high. And he's a bad bluffer.

I'm waiting to see the "victory" threads from the loons who are going to be standing outside the Capitol building tonight, beating on pots and pans and trying to "drown out" the SOTU. *smirk*
