I think Kerry and Kennedy ought to offer... up legislation in the mean time CODIFYING Roe v. Wade, and privacy rights, so that it doesn't matter any more who sits on the supreme court. Does this mean they're finally admitting Roe v. Wade should be handled as a legislative matter, not in the courts?

He already lost a big pot by betting on an inside straight. More like a queen-high. And he's a bad bluffer.

I predicted a breakup of the Democrat party a few years ago. It is nice to see that a) it is coming to pass, and b) it will be real, real ugly leaving none of the remnants in good position for a resurgence.

I'm calling for political CIVIL WAR in the Democratic Party... So ApocAlito was "Fort Samter"?
To: Ronin
LOL! Me too! This is just TOOOO rich! You know, I just don't think I would enjoy this as much if the liberals weren't so hypocritical, nasty, abrasive, out of touch with reality, self-centered, oh heck. I can't sit here all night typing.

It's all a Rovian plot to instigate fighting amongst the various liberal groups that exist in the Democratic Party.

I'm waiting to see the "victory" threads from the loons who are going to be standing outside the Capitol building tonight, beating on pots and pans and trying to "drown out" the SOTU. *smirk*

Heheh, I can see the response if you put this question to some of them..."No...wait...uh...ah...ack...ACK...AAAACKKKKKK...."
Kind of like those robots when you ask them an unsolvable question...:)

Um, I'm pretty sure the stone of the Capitol building would prevent the noise from getting inside. Second, they would need a permit to do that, and I don't think that they'd be able to get one close enough to "drown out" the SOTU.
Dream on DUmmies, Dream on.

The time has come for a party split. Progressive Democrats can more effectively leverage our numbers if we take the 20 odd senators and 80 or so reps and form a new party with better discipline and a unified party platform. In a parliamentary system this might get you the ministry for historic district preservation.
