Is It Any Wonder I Consider the ACLU A Most Dangerous Organization?

Once upon a time, I suppose, the ACLU had a worthwhile purpose in defending our civil rights, but somewhere along the way, its mission has become destructive to the rights of the majority and dangerous to the survival of the America we know. They defend rights, all right: the rights of Nazis to march in Skokie, the rights of child molesters to rape children in Massachusetts and to be Boy Scout Leaders in California, the right of Saddam to butcher his people and threaten our safety, the right of a high school girl in Rhode Island to wear a T-shirt to school that says “Kill Bush”, and, lately, the rights of the few atheists among us to remove all traces of religious traditions and symbols from our lives.

Very good.
The atheists are always saying that if you want references to God, go to a private Christian school.

Why not make these ACLU and atheists types send their childrent to Private Atheist Schools?

Actually the aclu never had a worthwhile purpose.

George Warrington had voluntarily taught the Bible – during non-class time – for over thirty years to his students.

His students participated voluntarily as well. There was no coercion – no other motive than to share God’s word with those who wished to hear it.

That was until the ACLU’s religion police found out about George’s Bible class. They swooped down on him like a buzzing hornet’s nest.

The ACLU filed a lawsuit against George and the company that produced the Bible curriculum he used, claiming that George and the company were “co-conspirators to establish religion.”

The case went to a jury – which decided against George.

But the ACLU wasn’t satisfied with their court victory. They wanted to make sure that George paid for his so-called “sin” by extracting a pound of flesh as well.

ACLU attorneys sought over $80,000 in legal fees from George – money they knew he didn’t have.

And when they didn’t get all of the money on their first try, they filed another costly appeal to a higher court.

The Alliance Defense Fund and its allies stepped in – free of charge – and helped George in his defense. Our allied attorneys were able to get the figure reduced to a fraction of the ACLU’s demand.

The ACLU terrorizes people like George on a daily basis across America. It’s time to say enough!

Yeah. Funny what lengths the ACLU will go to to portray mass murderers like Tookie Williams as paragons of virtue but let Tom DeLay engage in a little political fund-raising and it's "Off with his head!"

Bunch of Clymers. If it wasn't for double-standards, the ACLU would have no standards at all.

The ACLU never had any interest in defending our Civil Rights. The organization was founded by committed communist who's goal was and still is steering the US of A toward socialism.
