I'm sorry. I can't visit her website or read her columns given the rhetoric she used against Pres. Bush. What she did was pull a dirty personal attack and it was completely uncalled for.
I'm just happy to see that there ANY published Conservatives/Republicans with a "head full of fire". Politics ain't beanbag. If you want "polite" go to the church ice cream social.
Just think of her as a modern day version of Congressman Preston Brooks beating the snot out of Senator Charles Sumner. You don't want your entire party or movement consisting of such people, but you do need a few, and we have lacked these folks forever.
Yeah, she is a bit of a snob about her Ivy League education. I think she is wrong on that. After all, John Kerry graduated from Yale, and Teddy Kennedy from Harvard. How hard can it be? Probably not much more than Pig's Knuckle Community College if the truth be known.
She has "no idea what she is talking about"? She completely does. You are acting like a petulant liberal, by the way, by canceling your subscription to her paper. It's another form of whiny protesting because you just can't take it anymore. Boo hoo. Ann is absolutely correct on the Miers issue. Miers is unqualified to the extreme; why else would George F. Will, Mona Charon, Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, Robert Bork, and many, many others come out AGAINST her? She's a disgrace! And so is Laura Bush for saying we're sexist for opposing her, when Janice Rogers Brown would have been excellent!

Wake up and smell the coffee, buddy--Bush is failing us on immigration and now on Miers. To not acknowledge these undisputable facts would be ignorant and stupid, and, to paraphrase Ann herself, when it comes to the future of the Supreme Court, the difference is irrelevant.
