Yep. "I'm a registered Republican, but..." "I'm a lifelong Republican, but..."
What is pathetic are the trolls who come here and lead off with one of the above thinking they've really pulled a fast one on us.

Alternative Republican Convention
On Thurs Sept 2, George Bush wil give his acceptance speech. We will hit mute and instead hear from Republicans for Kerry including former Congressman Pete McCloskey. Sponsored by Peninsula Republicans for Kerry, this event is open to all, regardless of Party. We especially welcome other Republicans, though, whether already Kerry supporters or just "Kerry curious."

Protest greets Arnold
Jeb Eddy, a Republican since the 1970s, joined protesters Wednesday wearing a blue blazer and khakis. The 35-year Palo Alto native said up to 10 percent of local Republicans are also unhappy with the governors special election plans.
I think theres a lot of other Republicans that feel the same way I do, but theyre afraid to come out, Eddy said.
If that guy claims to be 35, he's lying about a lot more than his party affiliation...
Yeah I know, the 3 party Kansas system is so hard to keep track of :(
Hey, well... I used to be a Democrat...
Then I started watching the news. Clinton also played a big part in making me scrutinize the Democratic Party and the media. It became obvious over time that Clinton was betraying our country left and right, every chance he got.
In retrospect, he spent his last 6 years in the White House campaigning for the Secretary General of the United Nations. No other explanation exists for his cozying up to the Communists, his weak foreign policy, and his trade policies. Same goes for his lack of enforcement and punishment for domestic corporate corruption in our multinational companies.
Furthermore, in hindsight - I look back on my teen years and wonder how I never noticed all of this. Believe it or not, I got a lot of my news from NPR even after my transformation to Republican. If you listen carefully, and strip the bias from the reporting - you get a better picture often times than from watching snippets on CNN.
Then I discovered AM radio. Believe me... listening to Rush, Jerry Doyle, and Michael Reagan really do make my day.
Actually, it only says he's been a "Palo Alto native" for 35 years, but isn't that the same thing? Guy looks 55 minimum.
So maybe he voted for Reagan once or something. I know plenty of Dems who voted for Reagan in '80, but went right on to vote for Mondale and Dukakis and Clinton and Clinton and Gore and Kerry. I found that very puzzling, but at least it's better than deliberate deceit.
Ping the butcher!
Democrats STILL the party of LIARS!!
Phony Baloney Fraud Ping!
