Danke!
"LOL! (Wish it was an actual book, would make for pretty hysterical skits in troll threads.)"
Well, I have some thick books in my library. I could always send a digital photo thereof to someone with Photoshop skills...
Yepper. I was left on the pavement in the rain, and according to the ambulance driver, I was "going to die, anyway, so why hurry?"
They looked pretty sheepish when they came to my room to confirm my lack of demise...
I have zero photoshop talent.
:(
Well, an old friend of mine has some good P-shop skills...
VERY GOOD shanty, KP!
The heart of a poet is always a good heart. ;o]
Hey, Girl! It's good to see you again!
(I know...I'm late, but I'm trying to catch up with last night's revelry, so please excuse me...)
"...the coriolis effect gets further complicated by:
a. the presence of significant landmasses and changes in elevation
b. seasons
c. large area thermal and moisture variables"
You forgot to mention that all the winds of the entire world originate at the South Pole. They are called "Katabatic Winds," and they are why there is an actual desert on Antarctica.
From Antarctica, they are then dispersed to all the world, and find themselves back there, via the upper atmosphere, to do the entire thing again.
I'll put you on my very own ping list! Wait! I already did! That means I have to use it more often!
Welcome...officially!

August Chronicles Ping! FReepmail sionnsar if you want on or off the ping list. This is a low volume ping list (every few days). |
Well I, for one, am very glad you did not meet your demise that day.
My ambulance crew loitered around on the scene for nearly half an hour, admiring my wreck, chatting with the cops. It wasn't until they noticed that I had sat myself down in the back of the patrol car, laid my head down, and closed my eyes that they panicked and thought maybe they should get a move on.
I'm not sure if I've every seen Jaws or not.
I went to it, at a drivein on a first date with an octopus named Michael. I had a hard time concentrating on the screen; I was far too busy batting his hands away.
Thanks! I'm glad you made it through yours, as well...at least ONE of us can grow plants!
(I finally caught up with all the posts! *gasp*)
I have things to do in my life, so it "wasn't my time" if you believe those things.
Had it not been for an aquaintance of mine (who later became my fiance, and who was, later still, killed in a car accident of his own) I would have expired on the asphalt in the rain.
Besides...I had to live long enough to give some trolls some grief!
LOL!
;o]
Happy Friday afternoon!
Same to ya!
How are things in Canada? Specifically, the troublesome hibiscus?
It's just begging to go into the fire pit.
Lucky for it, it's been too dry for a while to have a bon-fire.....but it rained yesterday, so it's time on this earth is limited.
Vat's new vith you?
Wishing I had had the stamina to stick around last night! The place got really busy! And I missed it. *whine-whine*
And I'm wondering if the monsoons are really gone, or if it was just a figleaf of the weatherman's imagination...;o]
Hi, y'all. We worked on cleaning the garage this morning; the late cat left quite a mess. I'm exhausted!
The late cat was driving your VAN?????
Thanks. It's one of my life goals to actually own one, be able to complete a Practical Pistol Course with it and perform well. As I live in CA, this may take awhile.
BTW, regarding spell-checkers: sum daze nutting ghostwrite.
