I'm staying in for the rest of the day. It's damn hot outside and I nearly got mowed down by a car running a red light on 1st Avenue.

I forgot the cardinal rule of walking in Seattle... always look at the direction the traffic is coming FROM. I heard it coming and stopped, or it would've nailed me.

Just stopping by briefly. They just took the plastic off my office window so I can see outside again. After a week of being shut in, it's great!
