WashingtonIn a stunning, White House-busting development, Rep. John Conyers, D-MI, has insisted that Karl Rove be marched to Gitmo till he reveals that hes the source of the leak uncovering CIA agent Valerie Plame.
In a letter that is now being circulated in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Michigan Democrat cited recent reports that Rove discussed Plame with Time magazine reporter Matthew Cooper before she was outed as a CIA agent in July 2003, conclusively linking Rove as the new Deep Throat and this case as the Watergate of its day.
The Conyer letter urges Bush to require Rove to either come forward immediately to explain his role in the Valerie Plame matter or for him to resign from the administration. But Conyers has upped the ante and is insisting that President Bush take immediate action or resign as President of the United States. He demands that Rove is immediately sent to Gitmo to get a taste of his own torture medicine.
That information includes, Conyers stated, Vice President Cheneywhat he knew and when he knew itTime reporter Matt Cooper, and the involvement of President Bush, as well as how deep Mr. Bushs involvement runs. It was only a matter of time before this administration shot itself in the foot. Democrats have been patient for over four years, but were not gonna take this kind of corruption at the highest levels. Send Rove to Gitmo now, Mr. Bush! Its time to take out the garbage!
Three weeks ago Conyers staged a mock impeachment hearing based on the so-called Downing Street Memo, which purports to show that Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, only serving as another nail in a long line of nails in the coffin of the administration.
This is almost eerie as to how it compares to Watergate, noted Howard Dean, Democratic National Committee Chairman and former presidential candidate. W. Mark Felta high level government source like Rovebrought down a president. Nixon was in a quagmire. Bush is in a quagmire. Nixon tried triangulation. Rove tried triangulation. The media gave an assist to Felt. The media is giving an assist to Rove. It would all be so creepy if it wasnt great news! Im with Representative Conyers. Send him down to Gitmo! Thats what happens when you practice the culture of corruption!
The saga continued as New York Times reporter Judith Miller was sent to jail Wednesday after a federal judge declared that she was defying the law for refusing to divulge the name of a confidential source. The action by the judge virtually sealed Karl Roves fate, dooming him to a concrete cell where torture is the order of the day.
Sen. John Kerry, D-MA, said that the revelation really wasnt a surprise. These kinds of dirty, underhanded tactics were common place during the 2004 campaign. This was all under the tutelage of Karl Rove. If only the people wouldve listened then!
Not to emphasize Tom Delay, but its time to bring the hammer down on Karl Rove. Hi ho, Hi ho, its off to Gitmo Karl Rove goes, fired Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-MA, in the middle of polishing off a bottle of Jack Daniels.
Despite the enormous odds and overwhelming lack of evidence, the Democrats and mainstream media will stop at nothing to send Karl Rove to Guantannamo Bay Prison. No amount of rain, sleet or fear of jail will stop us from our current mission, stated former 60 Minutes anchor Dan Rather. From anonymous sources to falsified memos, Democrats in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory! We will break the fascist grip on the White House, ruining a legacy!

John Conyers has been a security risk since the Cold War and has no business being within 500 miles of classified information. He represents the American equivalent of what the British used to call a "rotten borough," where the politics are rigged to ensure his re-election until his natural death. In truth, there are several other representatives and senators that are compromised by ties with the Middle East, China, and the radical left. At best, these potential traitors should serve on non-essential committees like transportation and education.I agree. Thanks for reading, WT.

The problem with satirizing Democrats is that the reality all ready outstrips the fiction. You can't easily tell what's real and what isn't. They've moved into the realm of self-parody.Yes, but you've driven home one of the many points, which made it worth it.
