Hadn't heard that. But not being a sour mash kinda guy, wouldn't know. I do know that there used to be a very small distillery in NW Missouri called Cabin Still that put out some excellent sour mash. Better and smoother than JD. Haven't seen it in years though.

Economics. It was either that or raise the price. It already costs and arm and a leg compared to others. Problem is none of the others have quite the same taste or buzz. When I'm not "on the scotch" I drink R&R (Rich and Rare). Has a similiar taste for a lot less dinero.
