Hadn't heard that. But not being a sour mash kinda guy, wouldn't know. I do know that there used to be a very small distillery in NW Missouri called Cabin Still that put out some excellent sour mash. Better and smoother than JD. Haven't seen it in years though.
A month ago I bought a bottle of Early Times whiskey. Never had it before but some woman was selling it at a flea market for just $5 so I bought a bottle. At first I hated it but after several sips I kind of grew found of the stuff.
