I think I know a way to smoke the DUmmies out regarding the AndyScam Scandal. Might start using the new technique this evening.
I just checked and Lisinopril is NOT a Beta Blocker. Good thing since you aren't allowed to drink coffee when taking Beta Blockers and I can't live without coffee. Also Beta Blockers can cause your talleywhacker to quit functioning properly so I am really happy that I wasn't prescribed a Beta Blocker.
Right, Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor, I take Enalapril, which is similar. Low side effects, and it has other beneficial effects for the heart. I would suggest exercizing and trying to lose some weight (if you are overweight). I could stand to lose about 20 lbs, and from previous experience, that could lower my BP to where I could get off those meds.
If it is, it is a fairly recent development. When I first came here, it was overwhelmingly male in my view at that time. I haven't been around enough lately though to make an assumption either way.
psst, I'm female. Of course, I suppose nobody would expect a 240lb 6'4" guy to go by cupcakes--LOL
Mmmmmmmmm hostess cupcakes.... got milk?
You know, I'm very fortunate on the matter of blood-pressure, especially given how it deavastated my own family, and so in theory the genetics of the situation are not favorable for me.
But somehow by the grace of God, I escaped.
110/60, usually, and monotonously so.
All I can think of is that since the age of 18 years, I have taken 4 aspirin a day.....and oddly, aspirin is the only drug I have ever taken.
I do not know; other than that I consider myself fortunate.
Was just looking at those checks you posted. This may have been covered already, but by going to the Verity Credit Union web site, you will see that the guy that signed the check is the President of the Credit Union.
Out of all the cashiers checks I have received or bought in my life and there are plenty of them, I can't remember one where the Pres of the bank signed it. He is usually further up the chain of command than a check signer. Especially for a Credit Union with 6 branches.
Also, on the duplicate copy of the check, why is the "memo" portion blacked out, but is visible on the "original"?
I am probably wrong....but seems odd.
I guess that would depend on whether or not your were in prison. I bet there's a few guys in prison named "cupcake". :)
LOL CA, you are the same as us. Hubby reads FR pretty regularly, but I do all the posting.
I have been lucky in that respect also. A Dr. told me several years ago that if it wasn't for the cigarettes and coffee, I probably wouldn't have any blood pressure at all.
I say "soda" too. Was born in CA, about half of my family still lives there as does my husband's. I've lived most of my life in the state to the north of you (except for a brief move to CA again many years ago to go to college) and everyone here says soda, too, though I'd say "coke" is probably the second most popular word. Maybe it's a west coast thing.

AndyScam threads are quickly becoming "chick" threads. No doubt because PJ is such a stud....

Well, I must be the exception to the rule, because I'm really smart in person too. :)
There's no reason to be modest!..LOL
I think my strategy will now be to DUFU regular DUmmie threads and BRING the subject matter back to Scamdy. Since it now appears that the subject of Scamdy is now TABOO in DUmmieland that is the only way to do it.
I don't know if Gruntled is a CUer incognito, but I almost choked when he said he was a "boy scout" especial considering libs feel about BSA.
Whether Gruntled is a lib or a conservative I guess is a matter of some debate but I have a hard time thinking Andy would accept the help of a boy scout, considering the warm reception the Boy Scouts received in 2000.
I don't see how posting non-proof and claiming it is proof is the act of a "boy scout" or how it helps Andy. I still think Gruntled is a DUer who is now trying his best to appeal to a conservative audience, but lacking an understanding of his audience he fails.
I think the CUer "Disgruntled" is an authentic Andyite in DUmmieland who is being used by the main scammers--with his knowledge and permission of course, but simply being used.
"Soda" tends to be the common word on the coasts, "pop" in the heartland. Except for Southerners who use "coke" as a generic word.
SD
You know, you're right, sir; "pop" is the prevalent name for soda in the center of this great nation, but then you got people like me, with parents and older siblings born and raised in the east, who use "soda" around here, and it does confuse people.
What is less confusing is my use of the eastern "bucket" for the midwestern "pail."
