As a reminder and for anyone who has not seen them, I have all the Scamdy Documents safely stored on Photobucket. A convenient link is on my profile page. No "memory Pitt" for these documents!
Do the DUmmies recognize that Bev Harris ripped them off, or are they in denial about that?
BBV Bev has posted again in the other thread? Rats!...and I missed it! Gotta go find it!
under 1,000 ... bookmark..I'll come back after all of the "1st....100th" posts are done
Damn, I opened this thread when it was at 7, and walked away. Now I'm top 30, at best.
Yes, this is the one Bev mentioned.
I have the thread saved, and Bev was telling the truth about them digging around discussing her family.
Since when did DUmmies adopt traditional married names? Shouldn't that be Msssssss. Whatever-Stephenson, and Mr. Stephenson-Whatever?
"Yes, this is the one Bev mentioned. "
What was Andy wanting them to do with the information?
My hubby uses the Wayback Machine to get old websites.
Would that work here?
He is at work and I truly don't know.
You don't have to do that. Anybody who went there and let the page completely load can just go up to the file menu - click "Work Offline" - then go to the history file - and go back to the day it was posted and look for it. The page will load just like when you originally looked at it. THEN screensave it...
Key point, though - don't freshly reload the current version of the page first, since now that it has been modified - I think it will revert to the latest version - which is missing the deleted comments. Go straight to "Work Offline" and then load it from the history file.
I think the thread Bev Harris was talking about was posted in their "election 2004 results" forum. This is not the same thread.(according to her)
I'm wrong, this is the thread.
Dunno. I had to bail out fast when lightning storm hit and when I came back, thread was gone. If Bev has saved the thread, perhaps she could post it here.
I'm not sure. I've read it through, but not with a fine-toothed comb.
Yeah I doubt she would since it was discussing her family. Somebody earlier on this DUFU has it saved and confirmed it's the DU thread Bev was angry about. Look back up this current thread at the comments and you'll find it.

The wise and esteemed moderators do that once in a while, so they can go back to the top and clean the garbage, after which it is unlocked.
You know, I am now totally confused by the ancient dowager empress of DUmmieland, whom I had hithertofore feared with Great Dread and Trembling Terror.
I may have been uh, somewhat bombastic about the old empress, but trust me, I was very careful in my choice of words, so as to not attract her attention, and hence vengeance. And the last thing I wanted was, her, of all people, looking around for me, because she was sure to get me.
After all, her being from the hip, the cool, the trendy, the with-it, San Francisco, California, and myself being from the lonely desolate prairies of Nebraska, the assumption had been made that the aged dowager empress had more, uh, cerebral capacity than this cowboy.
Never mind that Nebraska (along with Iowa and Kansas) has the highest literacy rates in the nation, the highest percentage of high-school graduates, the highest percentage of college graduates, and the highest percentage of world-travelers, in all of the 50 states.
We in the red states have been told so many times we're just stupid hicks, that we've gotten to believe it, even though apparently it's not true.
You do good work, madam; great work.

I saved the thread, of course. Spinning this as "defensive" is odd. Do you have a daughter? Would you want some guy urging members of an Internet message board to go investigate her, and posting her last name -- along with the name of your son, where he works, the town he lives in?
I think not. The thread was posted in the Elections 2004 forum, did brisk business until 10:30 a.m. Eastern this morning, and was not removed, despite several alerts and letters, until 30 minutes after I made the problem public at FR.
It is that same one, from the Elections 2004 forum.
