The misconception that only "qualified" professionals have any buisness meddling in political issues is nothing more than a huge hunk of propaganda.

The idea that you need a college degree to have a valid opinion was first pushed in the sixties and the American people bought it. Now the working class citizen feels inferior to those who have a framed square piece of white paper hanging on their wall...how absurd!

If you are a living breathing American citizen you have not only the right but the responsibility to be involved in politics at every level.

The reason that this country is in the crap shape it is in today is that we trusted the "educated" to keep an eye on the governement. Its starting to look like that was a classic case of appointing the fox to watch the chicken coupe.

The only hope for this country is for the tax paying, voting public to start a massive grassroots effort to remind the government that they work for the people and not the other way around.

That was not at all the point and was stated NO WHERE. I very much agree with your above post, elsewise, I would not have participated in political issues and joined grassroots organizations, like FR, off and on since college.

But there are times when it is wise to facilitate an effort through the help of proven professionals.

However, the major point of my original post, before we got sidetracked, is that we should regroup and push for a Congressional investigation, which in turn might then lead to Greer's Impeachment, if we are serious about getting him impeached. On it's own, without pressure from people and authorities outside the State of Florida, it is most doubtful Greer's impeachment will occur.

You are right, people have to keep up the pressure to impeach Judge Greer. It is not only the Terri Schindler case that his has totally mishandled.

Is Fuhrman still going to be on Hannity & Colmes tonight?

Yes, Greer should be impeached but in my opinion, the best chance for that to happen is by pushing for a Congressional Investigation.

I hadn't heard Hannity and Colmes was having Fuhrman on their program. If so, I will be sure to watch.

AG News - Conservative groups believe Terri Schiavo's March 31 court-imposed death by starvation signals a clear society shift in devaluing life.

"We are quickly slipping into a culture of death," said Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council.

Focus on the Family founder James Dobson criticized judges who failed to act to save Schiavo's life as "guilty not only of judicial malfeasance, but of the cold-blooded, cold-hearted extermination of an innocent human life."

Multiple legal challenges from Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, failed during the 13 days of Schiavo's slow death. Even though the U.S. House convened for an extraordinary special session vote during Easter recess and President Bush flew back to Washington from his Texas ranch to sign the bill, courts repeatedly refused to intervene to save the 41-year-old brain-damaged woman, who had been connected to a feeding tube for 15 years.

The Schindlers found broad support in groups rallying to the cause. "Pro-life groups, disability groups and even liberal feminist groups don't like the idea of a husband doing away with his wife," said family attorney Barbara Weller. Everyone from Jesse Jackson to 250 Alabama Assemblies of God youth made appeals to show Schiavo mercy.

Mary Schindler said 48 hours after Terri collapsed, Michael asked her and her husband to sign papers they thought only allowed Michael to be the spokesman to the doctor. "We didn't know we were giving up all rights to Terri," said Schindler, who criticized Michael Schiavo for stopping therapy for Terri 12 years ago. "All I wanted was for my daughter to just have a chance," Schindler told PE Report.

Dana Cody, executive director of the Life Legal Defense Foundation in Napa, California, said the disabled increasingly are being marginalized because of "quality of life" arguments.

"It's become standard operating procedure in the health care community," Cody said. "Seeing Terri die will advance the 'right-to-die' agenda."

Weller cited parallels to Nazi Germany with Circuit Court Judge George Greer's edict to end Schiavo's life. "If they can kill Terri, they will kill many more people," Weller said. "Once they start killing off one group of people who don't mean much to society, who knows where it will end."

Daniel Webster, the Republican senator in Florida who sponsored Terri's Law, which kept the woman alive an additional two years, noted that Schiavo had a heartbeat, brainwaves and - except for the feeding tube - appeared in excellent health. "She was no different than many other people who are severely handicapped," Webster said. "Her life was valuable and worth fighting for."

Check this out. Ed Armstrong works for Johnson, Blakeley Law Firm who represents the Scientologists and is responsible for handing over lots of land in Pinellas to the Scientologists because Ed Armstrong is a real estate and zoning attorney who is also into politics.

His friend is George Greer. George Greer was a zoning commissioner before he became a sub-standard judge. Greer was zoning land for the Scientologists in the good old days.

Now we have a direct tie between Greer and the Scientologists who have gobbled up Clearwater over the years. Remember when ED ARMSTRONG was bragging about his friend George Greer?

Morton Plant Hospital has ties to Scientology as well. They went to court and asked J. Greer what to do about Terri in March of 2005. It was reported in the Miami Herald, not in one of the local papers.

I heard that as well which leads me to believe that Michael had this all planned from the get go, but didn't realize she was going to live and when he did he acted quickly to try and make sure he could make all the decisions about her care and do whatever he could to kill her.

There was definitely a period of time shortly after her collapse, when Michael began to put his ulterior motives into action, no doubt you are correct Halls.

TEJ did a story about how Michael may well have known Jody (whose mother worked at the sheriffs office) before Terri's collapse. Which means Michael may have enlisted Jody's assistance very early on. More evidence for your theory.

You're right! It is hard to believe that Hospice is having a change of position. We need to remember that a Lepard usually can't change his spots. I don't trust them.

My next door neighbor who is fairly new here was one of Terri's nurses at Palm Gardens Nursing Home. She started talking about Terri out of the blue this afternoon and she expressed disappointment that Jeb Bush didn't save Terri.

It really is a small world. She's a lovely person and I know she was good to Terri.
