DUmmie FUnnies 03-10-05 ("Last gasp of the internet ...")
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | March 10, 2005 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

DUmmie Paranoia is both a hilarious and fascinating thing to behold. In this case the DUmmie Paranoia takes form in the belief that the Internet can somehow be switched off because the DUmmies are getting “too close to the truth on the Bu$h Regime,” as you can see in this DUmmie THREAD titled, "Last gasp of the internet ..." Yeah, the MILLIONS of Websites including eBay, Free Republic, and MILF sites are ALL going to be shut down because of the “discoveries” in DUmmieland. Meanwhile I am still trying to discover what this MIGHTY Truth is. The DUmmies have been talking about vote fraud in Ohio for months and yet, for some strange reason, somehow refrain from posting what this actual fraud consists of. The only real fraud I have discovered in Dummieland is that perpetuated on them by Bev Harris of BBV con artist fame. So DUmmies, are you just $10 away from discovering this great truth that Bush is so afraid of that the ENTIRE Internet will be shut down because of it? As usual the paranoid DUmmie laugh lines are in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, trying to get in a few words before the final Internet Shutdown, is in the [brackets]:

Last gasp of the internet ...You do know that it is over, right? We are too close to the truth on the Bu$h regime. The web will be closed down. Mark my word.

[It’s over! OVER!!! Bush merely has to click the emergency Internet switch on his desk and the whole Web will be shut down. It’s just that simple.]

I worry about it. ..I've actually purchased a Grundig crank power shortwave just in case the information is shut down here in Occupied America.

[Good idea but personally I have a bike pedal generator that I am using to power up my telegraph key WHEN information is shut down here in Occupied America.]

Not a bad idea. got to look up something on those.

[Please consider the bike pedal generator. Randi Rhodes rides one of those to get her signal out on Err America.]

Lowe's Building Supply...They run about $40 or so. It's a Grundig FR200 AM/FM/SW with a light, dual power from batteries or hand crank. I've also got a Coleman Freeplay AM/FM radio with a solar panel. An SKS, AK, AR-15, or other rifle should be part of the plan too.

[DUmmies stocking up on rifles. So much for their gun control shtick.]

I have one too....probably time to crank it a couple minutes and refresh the battery

[And to try to fire up your brain neurons.]

Water filtration system...don't get caught being occupied w/o one.

[Yeah, I always make sure to carry a water filtration sytem on me whenever I am under occupation.]

Thanks I never would have thought to look at Lowes. The rifle is something my son wants to get too. I have never had a gun in the house but right now it seems like a good idea.

[GASP! DUmmies now turning into “gun nuts!”]

All this free flow of information has not stopped any bills getting passed that they wanted. No mass action by the people has the internet produced, except perhaps the demonstrations this summer? But they no longer fear demonstrations - they only look bad but "looks" don't really change much. It is only when masses of people withdraw large amounts of money from the system and stop participating in the economy, will they ever take notice that we the people may still have some clout.

[That “Not One Damn Dime Day” was sure a resounding success.]

The power of the people has been almost completely usurped. And there is very little time before all is usurped. We are just spectators for the most part. With all this free flow of information the election fraud is still in effect and the war machine still goes on. And it's not even politics as usual but politics, even more destructive to the working people.

[Very little time left. Just a matter of weeks before it ALL ends. In fact, Chicken Little has told me that the sky will be falling on April 1.]

I remember the Good Old Days when REVOLUTION really worked!

[November 1917. Those were the Days, my Friend. We thought Bolshevism would Never End.]

So what are they going to do about Canadian blogs and sites and Europeans etc? They can't control them. This is ridiculous. So what are they going to do? Fine democrats who use the interent with websites and blogs? I wonder what Mr. Dean has to say about this.

[We control ALL your Internets!]

It would be very easy to sell the idea of shutting down the Net to the Ami public. Just tell them terrorists are using the net to communicate with each other.

[And then simply flick the Internet OFF switch and it is bye-bye Web.]

Hallburton will take over Google, Enron gets Yahoo....and so on and so on. All the stuff we find now will be purged, leaving only nice, fluffy, warm stories on the chimp regime. Then we will get 24/7 on cable news how this is a WONDERFUL thing to have happen .

[Can I take over all the Petra Verkaik Nude Gallery sites? Please!]

I don't think the web will be closed down. However any Progressive site or any site even slightly non flattering to bush will be shut down. They will use the Patriot act to shut us down and make our websites and blogs illegal. There is a reason the right wing nut jobs have been labeling us as non American and supporters of the enemy. People will have heard that enough to believe it so when they come for us the masses will accept it. Hopefully they will see through it and won't stand for it to happen but, they already have let this bastard steal three elections. 2000, 20002, and 2004. bush needs to be stopped before this can happen.

[WHOA! Now you’re claiming that the 2002 (or is it the 20002) elections were stolen as well? That’s news to me but perhaps I didn’t hear about it because the EVIL Bush regime has filtered out that news on the Web.]

Did any of those history books remind you that those who were revolting were smarter and craftier and more driven than those they were revolting against

Whassamattayou? Dummies don't need no steenking history books. Their pony-tailed '60s radical college professors have already explained to them how REAL history took place in terms that any good little Marxist could understand.

History according to DUmmies is simple. All the terrible things that occurred in history were the fault of moneygrubbing American capitalists, greedy, evil corporation execs like Cheney, and warmongering fundamentalist Christian Repukes like Chimpa Khan.

Shucks man, where you been? Everybody knows that.

PJ,

I Belieeeeeve too! Hang in there - before you know it, a dream deal will come your way!

As for the DUmmies...just when I think they can't be any DUmmer or nuttier - a new, kookier and DUmmer thread comes along. Thanks for the laughs (mixed with some shudders that there really are such utterly moronic, DUm DUm lunatics out there)!!

: )

JimRob has approved new funding for the LFT Brigade. All Lousy Freeper Trolls are encouraged to purchase shortwave radios for dissmenation of propaganda and discontent.

I remember the Good Old Days when REVOLUTION really worked!

Geeze, there's nothing more pathetic than an aging hippy! Their little revolution may have worked before, but today people are better informed and (especially those generations that had to follow their liberal/socialist nonsense) won't be so easily duped. Growing up in the generation just after these self-indulgent idiots, I've always wondered what the heck happened to all the adults? If I found out either one of my sons were using their college educations to spit on soldiers and take over buildings, that would be the end of their college funds. If I were a professor or administrator, they'd be suspended. That they, who had so little knowledge of how the world works could be given the kind of power that changed society so dramatically for the worse defies reason.

I wonder what Mr. Dean has to say about this.

Considering he's as big of a whack-job as the rest of the dummies, I doubt anyone but them will really care.

It would be very easy to sell the idea of shutting down the Net to the Ami public. Just tell them terrorists are using the net to communicate with each other.

Note to dummies: this has already been in the news...MANY TIMES! Even my mother, who's usually about as a rattle knows this. If they shut it down, they won't be able to gain intel from them. Cindie

OMG. I just realized what the DUmmies are talking about.

Some congress-critters want to apply McCain-FeinGold campaign restrictions on blogs like Powerline [has more info on this]. Its amazing how these delusional DUmmies can misinterpret this issue into "shutting off the internet". What a bunch of loons.

Water filtration system...don't get caught being occupied w/o one.

We can no longer sit back and allow Rovian infiltration, Rovian indoctrination, Rovian subversion, and the international Rovian conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids. . . . Water. That's what I'm getting at. Water. Mandrake, water is the source of all life. Seven-tenths of this earth's surface is water. Why, you realize that . . . seventy percent of you is water. And as human beings, you and I need fresh, pure water to replenish our precious bodily fluids. You beginning to understand?

----[It’s over! OVER!!! Bush merely has to click the emergency Internet switch on his desk and the whole Web will be shut down. It’s just that simple.]----

Actually, YEAH, PJ, it pretty much is! And then after Bush does THAT, he'll open up his desk drawer and take a long, deep chug from one of the cans of pure, premium AIR that he keeps a stock of, just like President Skroob in SPACEBALLS, so that HE won't have to breathe the dirty, yecchy GUNK he personally pumps into the atmosphere EACH SUNDAY after his local fundamentalist TENT REVIVAL by hopping into a 1962 TRABANT and chugging ALL OVER metro Washington as part of a contract he signed with HALLIBURTON to help melt the ICECAPS faster so that there'll be more WATER around for his BIG PHARMACEUTICAL BUDDIES to dump ARSENIC into and thus give DIEBOLD an excuse to cancel the HEALTH INSURANCE of all their employees who have to WAIT IN LINE each day outside the corporate offices in OHIO before they can start rigging voting machines to give BUSH a third term. The guy's a monster.

But then, our DUmmie friends already knew that. :)

// Here's Powerline's take on the issue. Contrast that with the DUmmie version here.

Bureaucrat promises to let bloggers speak

"Jim Geraghty at TKS reports on the assurances to bloggers provided by Senators McCain and Feingold and FEC commissioner Ellen Weintraub. Geraghty responds that bloggers should be suspicious notwithstanding these assurances.

His points are well-taken. Weintraub's statement seems particularly lame. She hides behind the fact that a U.S. District Court ruled that the internet isn't exempt from McCain-Feingold. But she doesn't explain why the FEC didn't appeal that ruling. Fellow commissioner Bradley Smith says that the Democrats on the commission blocked the appeal. Weintraub also notes that the FEC hasn't drafted its rules yet. But she offers no assurances that the FEC's thinking isn't headed in the direction Smith described. She implies that bloggers will get to "use their electronic soapbox to voice their political views." That's big of the government. But our concern is not that blogs will be eliminated, just regulated. As Captain Ed explains, it's difficult to examine the lawsuit filed by McCain-Feingolf and the district court's decision (never mind Bradley Smith's comments) and not believe that this concern is well-founded."
