It's trendy, it's hip, it's cool, among the DUmmies to pretend to be British or French or Canadian or somesuch; anything other than what they are, American.
But we all know most of them live right here in the Good Old United States--the only place in the world, the only culture, the only society, that would allow them to merely exist--usually in a dark damp corner of the basement.

Sounds about right...
Among the geekiest of the geeks... we have a term, "egg", to denote those who are white on outside, and yellow on the inside... IE, those who think Japan is the greatest place on Earth and emulate it in many ways.
I'm trying to come up with a similar term for DUmmies and Michael Moore style liberals who think that Europe is the best thing since sliced bread, even to the point of adopting speech patterns.

Like I said, I was pretty much out of it during the Super Bowl due to a really bad cold/flu. I completely passed out sometime during halftime. Anyway, I woke up a few hours later and enjoyed "The Simpsons" episode where Homer got a job as a choreographer of really obnoxious endzone antics. This was followed by an episode of "American Dad." Anybody else see that? The funniest things about that show were two characters. One was an alien houseguest who sounded like Paul Linde. I cracked up when he fell backwards onto the breakfast table and yelled something like, "And now I've got a bearclaw jammed up my ass!" The other hilarious character was a perverted German pet goldfish.
I passed out again before the end of that latter show but I thought it was very funny.

When I was 12 I adopted a Liverpool accent to be like the Beatles....I thought it was cool (of course they were popular then)
Does this mean that we are being "entertained" by 12 year olds? ;'}
