By Victor Davis Hanson Few have appreciated the symbolism of the recent heated exchange between Sen. Barbara Boxer and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. For hours on end, speaking without notes, a proud, poised African-American professional woman from Birmingham, Ala., parried withering cross-examination from a succession of liberal senators angry over the Iraq war.

A Failed Plan, Senators?
1. We took Iraq in less time than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch
Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.
2. It took less time to find evidence of chemical weapons in Iraq than it took
Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.
3. It took Teddy Kennedy longer to call the police after his Oldsmobile sunk at
Chappaquiddick than it took the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to
destroy the Medina Republican Guard.
4. We took Iraq in less time than it took to count the votes in Florida in the
year 2000!
And the Democrats called the Iraq effort a failed plan?
And the efforts in Iraq didn't result in the deaths of all Iraqis (men women and children) who remained in Iraq.
I was laughing so hard at your brilliant post, that I spilled my beer all over the key board. Very funny! The best part of it was that everything you wrote is TRUE !
One of the greatest posts EVER!!!
Bravo!!
barbara boxer: you led us into this culture war with deception and misleading data, when you asked me for your support i proudly dissented because you claimed your feet were tired, period.
rosa parks: why do you impugn my integrity??
nah, couldn't be..

Error check: Nancy Pelosi is a Representative, not a Senator, and is House minority leader.
OUTSTANDING article. Thanks for posting it.
Shining light-post.
Well done.
What about that a-hole Biden and his use of the word Boss? It was but a half step away from Massuh (Master), if you ask me. No one says a word.
I give you Senator Robert Byrd, continually referring to "Albeeerto" as opposed to Judge Gonzales if you want a picture of the foregoing stereotype.
Very good post! So full of common sense........(something so lacking in the Congress).*~*
Mornin'. Thanks for the ping.
