I'm not going to say "Seasons Greetings" just because of left-wing PC Grinches feel that merely saying "Merry Christmas" to someone might offend them. What does "Happy Holidays" mean anyway? Nothing! So it's time to push back.
Repeat after me: "Christ"
Good. Now say this: "Muss"
Excellent. Now put those two words together and pronounce them just as you would if you were saying them separately: "Christ-mas"
That's exactly how I'm going to pronounce it as I say "Merry Christ-mas" to every single person I see between now and December 25th.
In fact, I think I'm going to say "Merry Christ-mas, celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ!" Yeah, I like that even better. I'm going to stand in front of Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Target and say it to every single person entering or exiting the building.
I think I'll take my friend Bob with me. Bob's an Eagle Scout. I'll just walk right up to someone and say:
"Merry Christ-mas, celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ! My name is John and this is my friend Bob. When Bob joined the Boy Scouts he was required to declare his belief in God, which was no problem because Bob is a devout Christian - a devout evangelical Christian. My shirt? Oh, that's the Ten Commandments - would you like to read them? Say Bob, can you hold my Bible while I set up this Nativity Scene?"

Yes it is. They want to celebrate it but don't want acknowledge the reason the holiday is celebrated. Maybe they'd like to relinquish the day off they get to celebrate it. Let's see how long it would take for them to scream bloody murder if you took their holiday away.
I agree. I've been saying CHRISTMAS for years.
