BREAKING NEWS - A public school student was just punished by her teacher for complaining about the teacher making his class watch Farenheit 911 in Attleboro, MA
Just heard on the Howie Carr show on WRKO –
The father of that student just called to say that his daughter’s teacher brought in a DVD of F911 and told the kids that everything in it was true. He punished the caller’s child for complaining. The attorney father and Howie are going to follow this up with a State Rep and the Governor.
It is R rated!

And on a personal note, this kind of thing is why my wife and I homeschooled our kids through high school.

gee, my mom had to sign a ream of paper acknologing the subject material for me to watch a flower repoduction movie way back when. All the guys would just smirk at the works 'pistol and stamen' for the rest of the year!
They should order that entire class, including the teacher, to sit down and watch "Farenhype 9/11" as a consequence.
Compare this with the teacher who was told to leave school because she wouldn't remove a pic of President Bush from her classroom....

This lady's job is probably safe, but the teacher who posted a picture of George W. Bush next to all of the other presidents probably will never see her classroom again.

That is absolutely rediculous. First of all it is an "R" rated movie. That alone is worth sueing over. Second of all it is Farenhight 911, a highly controversial movie and the teacher claims it is completely true. The teacher should be fired for that. Third of all the students are made to watch it and punished for complaining. If they don't win that court case, then I'm suing.
