Glad to see that you recognized yourself (yourselves?). The fact that this immediately elicited liberal responses indicates to me that there is something to it, and that liberals may have noticed it, as well.

I honestly don't think President Bush got whipped. I think it was a strategy to get Kerry to give the world some soundbytes that can be used against him. So you think Bush was told to go out and look like a bumbling fool so as to trick Kerry into making dumb statements that can be used against him?
Every poll taken since Thursday night said he got whipped. One or two say he got whipped badly. You can believe it or not.
If he turns in another clunker on Friday, he'll have to fight for his life.

Easy there, hoss. Thanks to your gentle remonstration, I watched the clip several more times after I had looked at it this morning a couple times. I was wrong. What I though was Bush reaching in his pocket is him picking up a pen and turning with his arm crossed in front of him then holding the pen out and clicking it. Sorry for the confusion.

Were I you, THX, I would be VERY cautious and/or very sure of yourself before calling anyone a liar (especially a Freeper with kristinn's chops). If you had demonstrated 1/1000th of kristinn's organizational abilities and positive reputation for direct action on FreeRepublic, you might be taken a little more seriously. While kristinn has walked the talk on countless occasions, I have heard absolutely nothing about you.
In my opinion, there is sufficient evidence to pursue this, just from the grainy video I saw. I would very much like to see a clear TiVOed version of this to "close the deal".

Figures. . . this is how liberals are. Always pushing the envelope and evading detection.
Probably too late now. The dye has been cast. Again, liberals factor this in the equation as well; 'Too late. What are you going to do about it?' The lie and/or perception of smoothness is half-way around the world before the truth gets it's pants on, to borrow a phrase. They rely on their mascots and stooges to provide cover and stalling tactics until the 'will' to fight the charge(s) subside by their opponents.
Should of had a television camera placed above the lecterns to 'capture' any use of notes?
Spell it out, write it out, place in the contract, make all the rules possible, liberals and democrats always find a way around them. Total contempt for civility. Disgusting as it is - it's who they are.
Always plan for that element when dealing with liberals and democrats.

Was it cards or just a pen taken out? The first time I veiwed it, it looked like note cards. Appreciate the continuation of the same music the Kerry Campaign used in the "faces" commercial LOL

I got this one wrong.
Kerry definitely pulled something out of his pocket. What it is I can't tell. Bush was just picking up a pen.

Drudge doesn't provide a link to the video. I sent him the link but I guess he's reviewing it first.

I think President Bush decided to be himself. His supporters knew how he spent his day, and he wasn't going to put up a mask of perfection to go against someone who's only chance of winning The White House is to rely on "The Zombie Vote."
Every poll taken since Thursday night said he got whipped. One or two say he got whipped badly. You can believe it or not.
Believe it? I expected it. I was completely ready for the polls to sway for Kerry. But there's still many days to go until this is finished.
If he turns in another clunker on Friday, he'll have to fight for his life.
I expect to be happily suprised.

The fact that this immediately elicited liberal responses indicates to me that there is something to it, and that liberals may have noticed it, as well. Is kristinn a liberal? You know, kristinn, who has organized more FReeps against Kerry than anybody on this forum?
You, like many others here, want to grab onto any little wisp of anything that might explain why Bush did so poorly.
If Kerry had every question and read his responses perfectly, that still doesn't explain why Bush was so repetitive, looked so ill-prepared, and left seven or eight wide open opportunities to slam Kerry on the table.

All right! Glad to see it's taking off. Whether it was notes or something else, Kerry definitely took something out of his pocket (while his back was turned to the audience) and arranged it on the lectern.
Now it's his turn to tell us what it was, since he wasn't supposed to bring anything with him. If it was his lucky rabbit's foot, fine, but let him say so and show us the bunny paw.
