As much as it might pain you can you see if he puts anything back into his pockets.... please...., Probably near the end prior to his final babel.
To: fraidycat
Ain't gonna do it. Sorry. Especially when posters around here absurdly suggest that it doesn't matter that Bush was unprepared.

That last question Lehrer asked Bush was the most obnoxious thing I ever heard. I don't recall exactly how it was worded, but he clearly wanted to put Bush on the spot. Why did the Bush people ever agree to this debate the way it was set up?? I knew before it started that it was a liberal setup disaster. All you had to do was look at all the players. Its like DUH.

What???? Did Bush cheat too? I sure hope not or we've lost all traction with this. We'll be left arguing that there are different degrees of cheating like some Catholic moralists.
Don't think the rules prohibited using your own pen, even if they provided pens, did it? Clearly you couldn't use notes and it does appear like Kerry is pulling out paper, which could have notes on it.
To: DestroytheDemocrats
" ... why would he need reading glasses? " To read any notes that he made on the paper the debate officials provided for him. I would have to have reading glasses to read my own notes. Now if he does not EVER wear reading glasses then that can be found out easily enough. And if he does NOT wear them EVER then WHOAH!
I don't yet need reading glasses, but it stands to reason that if you need to wear reading glasses to read your own notes, wouldn't you need to wear them to write those notes? I didn't see Kerry wearing any reading glasses reading or writing his own notes.

kerry had a interesting quote at the opening of the debate, something along the lines of '. . .we'll talk about that a little later' etc.,
it struck me as odd as soon as he said it?

Kerry has just been shown to have cheated.
Kerry stated we should give Iran fuel that could be used to make nuclear weapons. Kerry stated we need a Global Test to defend ourselves.
Kerry said a number of frightening things at the Thursday debate.
All you want to talk about is how Bush didn't reply as you wanted him too, looked agitated, and couldn't stand up tall. WHY?? WHY is that all you are interested in discussing?
To: HannaUSA
I thought Jim Baker was suppose to be such a great negotiator. The starting position should have been the President agrees to no debates, because Kerry has a history of fabrication.

Have circulated to all in my address book. Once again demoncRATS cheat, lie, steal, even commit murder to get their way. Can't expect anything better from a bunch of communists.
To: sinkspur
He should have known better, since he was told that there would be a split screen. Well, split screen, or "reaction" shots were against the rules too. Next time it should be specified that there is only one signal feed, controlled by someone like CSPAN, not by any network. Rather than multiple camera feeds which the networks are free to pick and choose (and cheat) with.

"Looks to me like Bush pulls out a pen and then clicks it, while Kerry clearly pulls out a folded wad of paper."
This is very misleading by seeming to state that both men "pulled something out-(of their pockets?, ed)".
I took the trouble to go back and look at the clip and this is not the case it appears. Pres. Bush looks to have just picked the pen up off of the podium. Our Senator beloved by the French clearly took something from his pocket--AN ACT WHICH DEFACTO IS A VIOLATION OF THE AGREED UPON RULES.

Perhaps a handkerchief, BUT, they already blew that out because when DRUDGE asked the Kerry camp about it they did not say "Oh buzz off, it was a handkerchief". The gig is up, he is GUILTY!
They were to bring NOTHING with them.......what of NOTHING does Kerry not understand? I suspect the same as the parts of things like honesty and integrity he doesn't understand.

I agree, I looked at it a few more times and the President does appear to pick up a pen from the podium. A video from the the front angle I'm sure would show this more clearly. Only this rear angle would show Kerry pulling something out. It appears that Kerry has a big toothy grin while doing it too.

He also mentioned Osama bin Laden by name later. But you and I are talking about facts, not indulging in hysterics.

The photo with Kerry reaching back between his legs is a

Our good Senator beloved by the French is now clearly shown to have no integrity right before the eyes of the American public. But some may think it great that he is so Machiavellian, so clever. Some think it would be good to have such a "shrewd" mind at the helm.
But let me say, if Kerry were to end up dealing with the really cutthroat *(&(()rds that are the terrorist, they will slice him to pieces. A sight I wouldn't mind seeing if it weren't for the health of the nation as well.
