Yes, you are - you alone!
I noticed that, too. I also noticed that Kerry seemed to hold on to Bush's handshake for a bit longer than necessary. Bush almost had to jerk his hand away.
Welcome to FR.
Its a shame Bush didn't reach up and scratch him behind the ears.
Bush seemed anxious to start. It was a positive in my opinion.....
John had to drag her by the hand like a man drags his sotted wife out of a bar. She was trying to go in four different directions.
That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
Enough all ready with all these debate threads. Ronald Reagan did exactly the same thing to Jimmy Carter...Bush was following that lead!!!
Welcome to FreeRepublic.
Another dirty trick I noticed: Kerry waited until Bush walked out onto the stage before he walked out, so the U. of Miami teeny-boppers in the balcony could erupt in screams when HE appeared. He did the same thing at the end: remained on the stage alone so the idiots could scream again. I have not seen this mentioned anywhere.

Terazza also "had a hold" on Laura Bush and wouldn't let go until their picture was taken...
Theresa was also chewing gum. Or something . . .
You are really reaching here.
Did you sign up today just to post this?
You can't tell me there's no alcohol involved in that marriage. Tuh-raaaay-zuh looks like one of those high society lushes from Absolutely Fabulous.
thanks Doc! glad to be here!
I HATE TO SAY THIS. I DON'T MEAN TO BE MEAN. I didn't pay much attention to Teresa's behavior UNTIL she waddled up onstage, grudgingly endured yet another sideways grimacing hug from Pepe LaPue. I sort of think she actually thinks this wrinkling up the nose and grimacing is CUTE. It might be in a 16 yr. old, and at one time she may have been alluring to John Heinz with the coquettishness, but at 65, it is just annoying. - I don't mean to knock her, because I'm fat myself, but she will make TWO of Laura Bush.
The fact that the president shook Kerry's had and walked across the stage to do it was planned. It comes from a debate a few years back when one candidate surprised the other one by shaking his hand at the beginning. It is a custom now. Bush one that 'walk'.
No biggie.
well, we know she stopped a cab full of journalists and kept shouting 'where's the bar, where's the bar'...got alittle kitty dukakis in her. Johnny boy better hide the nail polish remover.
