Three reasons:
A - he paid her off
B - the behavior Jacko has admitted too is just on the border of child molestation
C - he's nucking futs and it shows every time he goes out in public

FYI, it's DAD who went after Jackson, as soon as he wrested custody from said mom.
The description of how Jackson escalated physical contact, the child's description of Jacksons behaviour was years before the "Jackomentary" where we witnessed him do the same thing.
Add to that, some inside knowlege of a regular FR poster.
She has seen evidence related to the case that convinced her the reason he settled, is he knew he was caught.

It's because he is super rich and successful. Jealousy and envy are very powerful emotions and Hollywood is on a mission to destroy MJ.
